Wow! What a great experience. We were worried about a lot of driving, but the landscape was beautiful and our guide, Nick, was very informative. The monastery was magical. The cooking class and view from the chalet was so nice. It was our favorite excursion we taken on several cruises.
Beautiful landscapes, viewpoints over the Nida Plateau, the Psiloritis and Heraklion etc. Anogia with its moving history, delicious coffee and desserts, the stories around the Zeus cave and not to mention Zacharouia from the Psiloritis chalet who brought us closer to traditional Cretan cuisine, were besides the impressive visit to the Irini monastery, where Mother Superior provided us with delicious desserts, only surpassed by our great guide Johannes the highlights of this tour! Awesome and happy again!
