We recently engaged Lilia from Leo's China Private Tour for our visits to the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven in Beijing. Lilia was friendly and helpful throughout the tour. She assisted us in sourcing a very good local restaurant for our family, took many nice photos for us, and guided us through the key attractions at both the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven. We had a wonderful day. Yoshi with Leo’s private tour met us in our hotel lobby with a bright smile and a sign. Our driver then picked us up and took us on the tour. It was wonderful. They provided water and wonderful information on the drive to the Summer Palace. The car was very nice. The driver was very safe. I can’t say enough good things about Yoshi. He asked us about our other locations and quizzed on what we would have learned there and how it applies to this tour. He was a wealth of knowledge and very personable. He even gave us quizzes, jokes and tried to teach us Chinese (we are hopeless). We definitely would book Yoshi again for all of our tours. We believe we would have had a much better time and knowledge than those tours we booked through the hotel.

The visit to the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven was very interesting; even in the middle of the week, there are many people, but we had good weather, and the wait in line to enter was not too long. Thanks to Iris, although it was a bit challenging to communicate with her in Spanish, we enjoyed the tour.

Our guide for that day was Sue. He picked us up promptly at our hotel and with our private driver who spoiled us with water and fruit at all times took us to visit the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven. Being a long activity since distances in Beijing seem short on the map, but they are not really, Sue gave us total flexibility to accommodate visits according to time and our preferences and we value generosity with their time although in the end we already noticed that the visit was faster than we had started at first. He showed a lot of knowledge and provided us with important information and context to what we saw.
Our guide and driver provided an outstanding experience! Lilia was so friendly and personable, with exceptional knowledge of both the history of the sites and identifying the most efficient paths to follow. Her skill in determining “photo locations” was amazing, resulting in so many memorable pictures. The transportation services were also excellent, with our driver being “spot on” for pickups and drop offs, allowing us to relax and just enjoy the tour.
It was such a great private tour (by Leo's Private Tour) as tour guide, Lilia Liu, was very knowledgeable and thoughtful. The time allocated for each of the sights was just perfect and Lilia covered the history in detail.
