What a wonderful truly Calabrese experience! From meeting Francesca and learning about her history to walking the vineyards with Antonio and learning the history of the land and beautiful building to working beside Luana as she taught us how to make pasta, Fileja, Tropea style potatoes cooked in a “testu”, and delicious cantuccini that we used in a dessert with sweet ricotta! Loved that we got to bring the recipes home so we can try these recipes again! It was a perfect sized class of three of us! I would highly recommend this class!!

The Roots and Flavours Cooking School in Brattirò offers a culinary experience immersed in Calabrian tradition, enriched by an authentic and suggestive architectural context. The school is housed in historic buildings built with traditional techniques, such as the use of sun-dried mud bricks, typical of rural architecture in Vibonese. Beautiful experience, recommended

Everything perfect but the thing that struck me most is the architecture! Besides being wonderful, the story that accompanies it is fascinating. I discovered things I didn't know and in addition to learning how to make pasta at home I also learned fundamental things about the territory and architecture. Thank you so much
