The tour included beautiful stops (Otaru Canal), Chocolate Factory and of course, Cape Kamui. Great value. Hong, our guide was fantastic!

The locations along the route were great, with a stunning start at Cape Kamui and really fun museum visit of whiskey factory and town of Otaru. Our guide was more of a driver than a guide; she spoke very little English and took us to all the places, but there was no explanation of history, etc.

Rourou was an excellent tour guide! Cape kamui was absolutely gorgeous and we appreciated the ability to take the trail at our own pace (just be back on time!). Great way to see several attractions without having to worry about transportation logistics.

Rourou was great. She translated in Mandarin, Japanese and English. She was knowledgeable and kind.

Cape Kamui was one of the highlights of our trip. The trail to the lighthouse is about 0.75 miles each way (1.5 miles round trip) and was very manageable for our group, which included everyone from 11-year-old children to an 82-year-old adult. While there are a few steeper sections with stairs, there are plenty of spots along the way to stop and rest if needed. The hike is absolutely worth it—the views are breathtaking. The water is an incredible shade of blue, so clear and vibrant that it almost doesn’t look real. Another wonderful part of this tour was our visit to the charming town of Otaru. It has a quaint, picturesque atmosphere with plenty to explore. We only had about 1.5 hours there, which felt quite short, and we chose to stay longer and go back to the city on our own via bus. We easily could have spent much more time wandering the streets and dessert shops. Some guests even chose to stay overnight rather than return to the city, taking advantage of additional activities such as fruit picking and relaxing at hotels with traditional Japanese onsen baths. Our tour guide was exceptionally kind and attentive throughout the day. He went above and beyond to help our family by translating when we ordered food for our child with allergies, which gave us great peace of mind. He was also always willing to assist guests with taking family photos and making sure everyone had the opportunity to capture special memories. His helpfulness, patience, and warm personality truly enhanced the experience and made the tour even more enjoyable. If you’re visiting Hokkaido, I highly recommend adding Cape Kamui and Otaru to your itinerary. The scenery, hospitality, and unforgettable views made for an amazing day. In the notes, be sure to comment that you’d like an English tour guide if that’s important.

Good itinerary that allowed us to visit really beautiful places on the coast northwest of Sapporo. This tour combined English and Chinese and our guide, Fancy, handled the communication seamlessly. She provided good directions and clear instructions. The pick up and drop off were as planned and on schedule. Our only complaint is that the bus was very uncomfortable. No leg room and on top of that, we got stuck in the seats over the rear wheel so it was very cramped.

The tour was in Chinese as well as English. The very young tour guide offered very little information about the cape or any of the other stops and did not mention the time allocated to have lunch. I thought lunch was included given the price but it was not. The bus driver was even younger and the brakes screeched every time he stopped suggesting the vehicle was not well maintained. The cape was beautiful and the walk to the point was exhilerating. That was the highlight of the tour. Walking by myself the guide was nowhere to be seen though he claimed he walked out as well I did not see him.

Jay was an amazing guide! His English was outstanding, and he was very attentive with all the attendees, helping us with pictures, giving us resourceful information, and not rushing us, but letting us enjoy the scenery at our own pace. It's nice when a tour guide trusts us that we will make reasonable use of the tour timeslots. One of the few tours when I felt that I had enough time at every stop, and every stop was worthwhile.

Disappointing! Poor organisation, not true that available for English speakers.. STAY AWAY L! I booked this trip for 5 November a couple of months before my chosen date with English guide. I would not normally write bad reviews, but the way the travel company handled the whole thing was atrocious. A day before the trip they informed me it is out of season.. They offered an alternative tour that not included the sea shore nor the cape. Was Diss pointed, but agreed to the alternative. Interestingly they had a tour available to Kamui Cape online, but only to Japanese and Chinese tourists. Then the night before the trip they informed me that they cancelled my trip and refunding me. I had to message them as they still not sent confirmation about the new trip. Offered tickets to attractions in Sapporo, but they were not to my interest. If I didn't asked they would have left me hanging and I could not get myself anything organised for the next day. Was already too late for most things as it was after 9pm. Than on the day an email camevia Viator they cancelled the trip due to weather... Lies as I checked the weather and it was perfectly fine that day.

The tour (the places we stopped) was great! I am glad I took this tour. However, I wish we could have had a bit longer at each place. The tour bus was small and uncomfortable and the guide didn't seem especially invested in her job. She seemed pretty bored.
