Javi was fantastic from the time I made my booking to the day of the actual tour - excellent communication and provided me with link to buy the tickets to the Alhambra. Our tour started on time and we walked through the Alhambra at a good pace, not feeling rushed. Javi was an excellent storyteller; giving us an in-depth explanation of the history and culture of the Alhambra, Granada and the region. As well, Javi did a fantastic job being our photographer; the photos were absolutely beautiful. At the end of the tour, we were able to stay in the Alhambra to explore it on our own. Before Javi left us, he sent us a list of local food and restaurant recommendations which was super helpful. The Alhambra was incredible; very beautiful but it is a huge complex so I would absolutely go with a tour guide like Javi.

Fernando was FANTASTIC! We had such a wonderful time on our tour; he kept things interesting for our three young boys and was a great story teller. It was also nice not to have to worry about keeping track of the time and logistics so we could just enjoy the palaces and gardens. Highly recommend!

It goes without saying that if you travel to Spain, you MUST at some point visit Granada and see the Alhambra. There are a lot of tour options, but this one is exceptional! Many tours include the entry ticket into Nasrid Palace, with a marked up price per person. I especially appreciated being able to obtain tickets myself via the official website and have the timing tour based on our entry time slot. Our guide, FERNANDO , was absolutely outstanding! He communicated with us ahead of time to coordinate our meeting point and everything went smoothly and according to plan. Fernando had so much knowledge and passion, which made this tour feel extra special. He guided us through the gardens and multiple palaces with ease. He managed our time so we didn't have to worry about getting to Nasrid Palace within our designated timeframe. Fernando's super power was definitely being able to keep our 11yo engaged by asked her questions and addressing her directly so she felt this tour was for her too. Fernando is a guide of the highest quality. I recommend you request him and be sure to show your appreciation at the end of the tour.

Fantastic private tour with Javi. Super knowledgeable who navigated us through the busier areas of the Alhambra with ease. Great relaxed pace - we never felt rushed - and made sense of what would have otherwise been an overwhelming monument. Worth the cost and highly recommended!

I would give him 10 stars. I highly recommend our local tour guide Javier. I use a mobility scooter and I booked this private tour from the U.S because of the description. We communicated using whatsapp and he was right on time to meet our tour bus. His knowledge of the Alhambra and ability to navigate the site allowed me access using ramps. He was the best guide I have had in over 45 years of international travel.

Javi was the most fantastic guide ! He was so helpful even before we met and he made our experience in Granada and the Alhambra so special and memorable! He is passionate about his work and it really shows. Our visit to the Alhambra, was an amazing and enjoyable experience. Our guide, Javier, was fabulous. He shared a lot of valuable information with us about the history of the Alhambra and about the city of Granada from past to present in a very pleasant and easy to understand way.
