そして、500年以上の歴史を持つ、世界最大かつ最も保存状態の良い古代帝国複合体である皇居（紫禁城）へと進みます。 1406年から1420年にかけて建設されたこの宮殿は、何度も損傷、略奪、再建、修復を受けてきた。 その結果、現存する建築のほとんどは18世紀以降のものである。
昼食後、中国最大級の帝室庭園「夏宮」へ。 もともとは清朝皇帝の避暑地や仮住まいとして建てられた、 庭園を散策し、素晴らしい景色を眺めます。
最後に、古代の天皇が国家平和と五穀豊穣を祈願した「天の宮 」 * *を訪れます。 北京南部に位置し、5世紀以上にわたって中国で最も神聖な場所のひとつであった。 この壮麗な伽藍は、明と清の皇帝の主要な犠牲祭壇として機能した。

Had the best day out with Nancy and Mr Xu! Saw an incredible amount of places, learnt a lot about them all and was driven around in absolute comfort. Highly recommend booking this tour and getting a whole day's worth of entertainment and education.
I really recommend doing this tour. It combined main heritage sites in Beijing. Nancy was our guide and she did her best to ensure we had a seamless and positive experience. She gave us options which allowed to get through many levels of security faster and have more time at the sites instead of the queue. The driver was great too and the mini bus was clean with reclining seats. The sites in this tour are massive, so to have a proper look you probably need at least a day in some of them. However in saying that the temples start looking very similar after a while, so we did mot feel like we missed out. At times we did feel rushed but it was necessary to cover all the ground. Nancy told us many facts and information. She also gave us some advise where to go the next day which we did and it was very good. Overall great experience, was just missing some storytelling, was more facts focused.

I did my tour with Bobo, she is a good guide and she knows a lot about history. She also knows the best places to take photos. The tour was well organized, we managed to see all the attractions in the intinerary. While there is not enough time to explore everything deeply and to have time on your own, you get a solid idea of the history and scope of all the stops we made. Ideal for tourists with little time in the city but want to visit every major historical attraction. The lunch was very good.

I highly recommend this tour. We were able to see so much in 1 day and learned many unique facts. Our guide Linda was AMAZING and really catered the tour for our family. She even made a suggestion on an acrobatics show to do that night after the tour and we really enjoyed that. When we come back we will for sure ask for her to be our guide!

Sunny (Lingling) speaks excellent English, but was also happy to let us practice our Chinese with her. She gave us a lot of interesting information and was happy to answer all of our questions. It was a super hot day and she was great at getting us quickly through the crowds, keeping us hydrated, and finding shady places to stop. She was very flexible about the itinerary, offered to help us book a post-tour restaurant. We would not have been able in a single day to visit even one or two of these important sites in our own, so this trip was worth every penny. It was a LOT of walking, and I’m soaked with sweat and I’m still very happy about the whole thing.
