Lucca the guide is awesome. Learned a ton and he will be someone we would contact if we travel to Tuscany again. The experience with the winery was very nice but the highlight for us was hanging out with Lucca and his dog Lilly

Luca, very personable and competent, guided us through the oak groves for about an hour. The whole family was thrilled with his interesting and varied explanations. The dog, Lily, was very well trained and did her job perfectly. No sooner had she dug up a truffle than she was already looking for the next one. We were also caught up in the hunting fever and were able to help with the careful uncovering of the truffles. The hunt was very successful and we were thrilled with our delicious gift at the end of the excursion. The subsequent truffle meal with wine tasting took place on a very beautiful estate with a view from the terrace of the towers of San Gimignano. There were some antipasti and then tagliatelle with truffles, which were very good. The waiters were friendly and suggested several suitable wines. We had expected more from the food, but it was still a very successful afternoon.

Truffle hunting with Luca and his beautiful dog Lily was a wonderful experience. I learnt alot about the various types of truffles, how they grow and when the black/white truffles are available. Watching Lily search for truffles was a delight. Lucca presented us with a gift of truffles which was completely unexpected. The truffle lunch and wine tasting at the farm was excellent. The service was amazing and the staff was kind and respectful. This is a must experience for any truffle lover to do when visiting San Gimignano. 10/10

One hour for truffle hunting. It was very informative and very easy. We were in the brush so recommend wearing long pants.

Luke was very knowledgeable about truffles , and very friendly. Made us laugh about his white truffle experience just to take a picture of his treasure while his dog was taking a bite of it.

One of the best tours we did. Our truffle hunter Luca was incredible his dog Lilly was amazing. They were a great pair, every time she dug she found a truffle we got a handful of black truffles. Loved walking in the fields & seeing the oak trees. Lunch & wine pairing were also very good

This was hands down my favorite experience in all of Italy. Our truffle hunter guide was so knowledgeable and friendly and we loved our truffle hunter Lily. She was the best girl. The atmosphere of the winery and vineyard was so picturesque and exactly what you wanted to find in Tuscany. Hands down would do it again in a heart beat. The lunch and wine was also the best we’ve had in Italy. I highly highly recommend it!

The truffle hunt was really amazing and the lunch delicious. The place is really beautiful and the city a grace!
