私たちのクルーズは、野生生物と歴史に富んだ多様なアルゴア湾で操業するという点でユニークです。絶滅の危機に瀕しているアフリカペンギンの半数が生息するセントクロア島を訪れます。このツアーは、1日に複数のクルーズを実行するのではなく、1日に1回だけ実行されます。これにより、船長とガイドは常に新鮮で注意深く、すべてのクルーズに対応できます。また、船内で野生生物を探したり、遭遇する特別なものを観察したりするのに時間と労力を費やすことができます。以前に行ったフライトまたは予約に戻ります。私たちの主な焦点は、アルゴア湾へのマリンエコクルーズからの資金によって可能になった教育、保全、研究支援です。樹木は、実施される各クルーズの二酸化炭素排出量のバランスをとるために植えられています。私たちのクルーズを個人的なものにするために、小さなボートを使用しています。私たちのスキッパーとガイドは非常に知識があり、質問に答えたり、ゲストのニーズを見たりするためにそこにいます。

午前 8 時にゲストに会い、簡単なブリーフィングの後、双発カタマランで PE の美しいアルゴア ベイに向かいます。クジラの季節は 6 月に始まり、ザトウクジラが繁殖地に向かってアフリカの東海岸に向かうときに海岸に沿って移動するのが見えます。ザトウクジラは 6 月から 12 月初旬までアルゴア湾で見ることができます。彼らは 10 月から子牛を引き連れてメスを連れて帰路に就きます。ミナミセミクジラは、7 月から 9 月にかけて海岸で間近に見ることができます。

セント クロイ島には、絶滅の危機に瀕している 12,000 羽のアフリカ ペンギンが生息しています。これは、アフリカで見つかった最大の繁殖コロニーです (ただし、10 年間で 70% が失われました)。コミカルな鳥たちを間近で見られるスポットです。アフリカ ペンギンの繁殖期は 3 月から 5 月にかけて最盛期を迎え、ボートからヒナを見ることができるかもしれません。セント クロイ島とブレントン島には、アフリカ ペンギンだけでなく、絶滅の危機に瀕しているアフリカ クロミヤコドリ、シロブレスト カワウ、ケープ カワウが生息しています。セント クロイ島群はバード島群と共にアッド エレファント国立公園の一部となり、アフリカ ペンギンの個体数を保護するための保護活動を支援するためにレンジャーが島をパトロールできるようになりました。海域保護区のため、島内への立ち入りはできませんのでご注意ください。
上記の動物の隣には、シロブレスト ウ、ケープ コーモラント、ニタリクジラ、ミンククジラ、ケープ オットセイ、さまざまな種類のサメ、ケープ カツオドリ、アジサシ、ミズナギドリなどのさまざまな種類の遠洋鳥を見つける機会があります。 、スクア、ミズナギドリ、アホウドリ。

Our trip with Raggy Charters was truly one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. From the moment we stepped aboard, the entire crew made us feel welcome, comfortable, and well looked after. We were fortunate enough to see dolphins, African penguins, and even humpback whales, but what made the experience so special went far beyond the wildlife. The passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm of the crew shone through in everything they did. It was clear that they genuinely love what they do, and that passion is contagious. Their excitement and dedication allowed us to fully appreciate every moment and made the experience unforgettable. A brilliant company from the booking right through to the landing. Very professional people who certainly know their stuff. We were lucky to see a humpback and her baby in May which is earlier than expected in the year. We saw 100's of dolphins, some seals parked under a cargo ship and a Brydes whale. The penguins were out swimming in the bay so we didn't see them on St Croix island but their numbers have certainly diminished due to over fishing and pollution over the last decade or more. Keep up your conservation work Raggy Tours you are desperately needed.
