Very honestly... it was beautiful and downright ridiculous what happened at the same time. Our day. Son (20) already had a stomach. I tried to reschedule. Couldn't. He tried to. But on first stop. Did he tell Mom I shouldn't do this. I want to go back to hotel have too much stomachache. Time at that time was 2 a.m. I want to give 5 stars for this, because we were immediately helped and taxi arranged for him etc. He was safe in hotel 1 hour later. So that was really great. And by.. arriving in cairo the guide got in and started telling. We (my daughters and I) should go to old Egyptian museum and other family went to new. (I saw that this was possible but could not choose new ones anywhere At home for books carefully looked at) Guide said we were kicked out. They went to new ones and then we were picked up somewhere. But yes that there was actually nothing left in old because was all set to new but was our problem. Fully realizing that it was manipulation, we decided to pay an extra 25 euros pp and also go to new ones. So 75 euro foetsie. Arriving in new museum we were walked around for 1 hour and told everything and we got 1 hour free time. This was way too little. We also had to eat, drink, pee in it etc. So 75 euros paid for 2 hours. Pretty ridiculous. Then the story of the boat trip. We were group of 7 and boat trip could only if everyone would come along. I say pardon that was optional for everyone to decide for themselves. Other family wouldn't. My eldest daughter seasick so neither did she and that left youngest daughter and me. So couldn't. I say hello, don't you offer? Yes okay then it could if I paid 30 euros pp instead of 10. And then after everything that had already happened, I got very angry for a moment. 25 pp museum plus 30 for boat and knowing I had already paid almost 300. From which I get nothing from son was really the last straw. Have shown her on app sat it was just 10 euros pp. But she persisted. Told you then. You make your problem my problem now and we're not going to do it. I want that boat trip and I pay 10 euros pp. Take care of it. Eventually that is settled Pyramids were fine again. She took us to vantage point. And so actually obliged whether carriage or camel. Both 15 euros pp. Because if you didn't, you wouldn't get there. Oh well, we'll do another 45 euros. So conclusion... if never again... What we saw and did was beautiful and was really worth some money. Although the time was sometimes very short and was almost behind everything for our feeling. Compulsory 140 euros on top of the already expensive excursion is not funny.

Wat betreft uw zoon: Ongeveer vijf uur voor vertrek nam u contact met ons op met het verzoek om de excursie te annuleren, omdat uw zoon last had van buikpijn. Op dat moment waren alle vervoersdiensten, tickets en andere diensten al bevestigd en vooraf betaald. Daarom was annulering op dat moment niet meer mogelijk volgens ons annuleringsbeleid van 24 uur. Toen uw zoon later aangaf dat hij de excursie niet kon voortzetten en terug naar het hotel wilde, hebben wij onmiddellijk en volledig kosteloos een privéauto geregeld om hem terug naar het hotel te brengen. Hij was ongeveer 30 minuten later terug in het hotel. Wij hebben in deze situatie alles gedaan wat redelijkerwijs mogelijk was om hem te helpen. Wat betreft het Grand Egyptian Museum: Volgens uw oorspronkelijke boeking stond een bezoek aan het Egyptisch Museum gepland. Tijdens de excursie koos u ervoor om in plaats daarvan het Grand Egyptian Museum te bezoeken. Daarom was het prijsverschil van het entreeticket van toepassing. Dit zijn officiële overheidsprijzen en geen prijzen die door ons bedrijf of onze gids worden bepaald. De wijziging werd volledig op basis van uw eigen keuze gemaakt. Wat betreft de duur van het museumbezoek: U had ongeveer twee uur voor de rondleiding en uitleg, plus nog ongeveer één uur voor foto's en om van het museum te genieten. Voor een dagexcursie van Hurghada naar Caïro en terug is dit een redelijke en zorgvuldig geplande tijdsduur. De excursie wordt volgens een strikt tijdschema uitgevoerd, samen met andere toeristische groepen en binnen de geldende organisatorische en transportregelingen. Daarom is het belangrijk om het geplande tijdschema te respecteren. Wat betreft de Nijltocht: Het tarief van €10 per persoon was mogelijk wanneer meerdere leden van de groep aan de activiteit zouden deelnemen. Omdat uiteindelijk slechts twee gasten wilden deelnemen, was de laagst beschikbare prijs €15 per persoon vanwege de operationele kosten. Dit werd door onze gids duidelijk uitgelegd voordat u een beslissing nam. Wat betreft de paard- en kameelritten: Deze diensten worden aangeboden door onafhankelijke aanbieders bij de piramides. De prijzen kunnen verschillen en gasten zijn volledig vrij om zelf te beslissen of zij willen deelnemen en welke aanbieder zij kiezen. Ons bedrijf bepaalt deze prijzen niet en ontvangt geen betaling voor deze diensten. Tot slot, met betrekking tot annuleringen en terugbetalingen: ons beleid vereist duidelijk dat een annulering minimaal 24 uur vóór vertrek wordt aangevraagd. We did not see a papyrus factory, as stated in the booking. They also practically tried to push the Nile cruise on us, even though it was not booked, which meant we had to wait about 45 minutes pointlessly. We were taken to shops twice that were also not on the program in order to push some things on us.

The trip from Hurghada is very long and can be tiring. By Egyptian regulations, all tourist vehicles must stop at a security checkpoint shortly after leaving Hurghada and wait for their assigned convoy. If your van is behind many buses, you may miss your convoy slot and have to wait for the next one, which adds to the travel time. Our guide, Mansour, was fantastic—very friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer every question. We really enjoyed learning from him. We had enough time at the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum to explore and take photos without feeling rushed. Despite the long journey, the trip was definitely worth it.

Unfortunately, it was a German coffee trip, we were taken to a spice shop, perfume store, etc., to buy overpriced goods here! Also, camel and carriage rides were sold at a high price! Actually not recommended, you rush from one point to the next, at the restaurant for lunch there was below-average food, plus the stress of having to move on. 3 points for the tour are only given because of the diligent drivers who drove us for 12 hours through Egypt! Of course, the highlight was the pyramids, it was worth it for that, the guide was a chatterbox.

Sie bieten den Gästen außerdem die Möglichkeit, saubere Toiletten zu nutzen und während des langen Tages eine kurze Pause einzulegen. - Bezüglich des Mittagessens arbeiten wir mit einem der besten Buffetrestaurants für Gruppenreisen in Kairo zusammen, das täglich zahlreiche internationale Gäste empfängt. Dennoch sind Geschmäcker bekanntlich unterschiedlich, sodass die Bewertung des Essens immer subjektiv ist. - Der Zeitplan ist bewusst gut organisiert, da die Tour eine sehr lange Strecke sowie mehrere bedeutende Sehenswürdigkeiten an einem einzigen Tag umfasst. Die Einhaltung des Zeitplans ist notwendig, damit alle Gäste die Pyramiden, die Sphinx und die weiteren Programmpunkte besuchen können und anschließend sicher nach Hurghada zurückkehren. We had a beautiful day in Cairo. Around 1 am we were picked up from our hotel. In a small minivan we went to Cairo with 8 people. After some waiting at the checkpoints, we arrived around 8.30. We then made a small cruise on the Nile. Then went to the Grand Egyptic Museum. What a beautiful building and what a beautiful collection. After about 2 hours of being shown around there we went for lunch. Or no, not at all, first stop by a spice shop (before the sale). Then we went to lunch. After lunch to the pyramids and the sphinx. This was also beautiful, despite the many street vendors. At the end of the day we stop by a perfume shop (for sale). And after a long day the drive back to the hotel. Here we arrived around 0.00 am. All in all a very long day, but definitely worth it. A tip for the organization. Our guide (I thought his name was Hamar) was quite pushy, rushed and talked a lot. In addition, he constantly wanted to speak and left little room. He also explained everything in three languages (English, German, Arabic), while we had asked for English. There were people in the group who only understood German or Arabic. This made the already long day quite exhausting.

We begrijpen goed dat dit, zeker op een lange en intensieve dag, vermoeiend kan zijn. We gaan dit intern bespreken met de betrokken gids en de organisatie om ervoor te zorgen dat: * er beter wordt afgestemd op de taalvoorkeur van de groep, * de uitleg rustiger en meer gestructureerd verloopt, * en er meer ruimte is voor een prettiger tempo en beleving. Dank nogmaals dat jullie dit zo duidelijk aangeven. Jullie feedback helpt ons om de ervaring voor toekomstige reizigers te verbeteren.
The tour itself was nice, we saw everything the program includes. Unfortunately, our drivers were not the friendliest and no communication took place during the journey. The drivers were visibly dissatisfied with the tip they received from the tour group, prompting one of the drivers to not even say goodbye when he left the car. Our tour guide in Cairo was professionally very good, but unfortunately we felt like we were in a marathon. Especially in the museum we were really rushed, so the older participants of our "tour group" had problems with getting behind. Unfortunately, no account was taken of that, which was a shame. Despite everything, we had a great tour group and a nice, if very busy day.

The trip to the Giza pyramids was an unforgettable experience for me and my family. We took a minibus from hurghada to Cairo, which was very pleasant – enough space, clean and a relaxed ride, especially with the family. The very arrival at the pyramids was overwhelming. No matter how many times you have seen them in pictures, in real life they are simply impressive. This greatness, this story – you really feel that you are standing in a very special place. For us as a family it was a very nice moment to be there together and to collect memories. The excursion was well organized, everything went smoothly and without stress. We had enough time to take photos, look around and enjoy the atmosphere. Also for children the excursion is well suited, as everything was clear and well planned. Overall, it was a very successful day that we will all remember well. I can recommend this trip to anyone visiting Cairo – especially if you want to experience it with family. The pyramids must be seen just once in your life.
