Great food and wine, loved the history tour. Eric was amazing and very knowledgeable. A must for the Gothic district.

Good fun experience with the kids today at the taverns

My husband, Will, and I signed up for this 3 1/2 hour tour at the last minute today - and have absolutely no regrets. Dom was a fantastic tour guide, giving us both detailed history of Spain over the past two centuries along with wonderful stories and tasty delicious tapas and copious Cava at three different establishments. The Gothic Quarter is beautiful, vibrant and fascinating, chock full of history which Dom illustrated superbly. We loved that he had a relationship with the families that were long-time owners of these historic restaurants. He is incredibly knowledgeable and affable. Alas, we did get hit by a soccer ball in one of the old squares, but no one was injured! We highly recommend this tour, for the tapas, history, camaraderie and fun.

We had a fabulous tapas history tour with Alex M! We were a private group of four couples and just had a blast. What can I say? The things he pointed out, we would have maybe wandered through those areas, but we wouldn't have known what to look for. The highlight was definitely the food and the way he explained and narrated over the food and drinks as we were having them. He was so fun, so charismatic, so personable, and our whole group just loved every single second of drinking and eating in his presence! It brought us all closer together, gave us a little break from having to plan what we were going to do, and was just so informative.

We were fortunate to have Ariana as our guide for the Barcelona Tapas, Taverns & History Tour, and even more fortunate when it became an impromptu private tour since we were the only guests that day. This was especially appreciated because my mom is 79 years old, and Ariana was able to adjust the pace slightly to make the experience comfortable without ever making it feel rushed. Ariana struck the perfect balance between sharing Barcelona's history and introducing us to incredible food and drinks. We were fully engaged throughout the tour, and everything we tried was so good that we returned to several of the same places later that week. She also provided excellent recommendations during and after the tour, which helped us make the most of our time in Barcelona. It's clear that Ariana genuinely loves what she does, and that passion shines through in every part of the experience.
