I just realized that I never reviewed this trip. My bad. Over $500 for a guided private trip for the day. We got a taxi driver in a Mercedes. Her information was basic and at times incorrect. At Thermopylae it’s a museum with videos. You don’t need a guide. At Delphi, she dropped us at the entry, pointed us in the right direction and we found her outside talking to a friend an hour or so later after wandering around with absolutely no information. Other guides were in the museum explaining all the artifacts. Guides with small groups were all over the ruins explaining the history. $500 and we wandered around like a couple of homeless people. The tour busses for the same thing with guides can be done for less than $50 per person. Do yourself a favor. Take the guided bus tour!
The review is mistaken, we never had a reservation over the past year! Please delete this one . The customer doesn’t have any proof that we did this tour with them. It’s very sad that these people they had such a bad experience, but not with us. He’s better to communicate with a customers to clarify which office realised it.!
Our driver Glykeria was amazing. She has been driving for 25 years and her hospitality and knowledge of the area and history was invaluable. She even brought us breakfast from a traditional Greek bakery. Her English was very good and the way she described the area and history was easy to understand. She was very good about stopping for us to look at views, take pictures and take bathroom breaks. I felt like we were on a tour with a friend or family member. She was very nice and easy to be with.
Glykeria is the absolute best! We were so happy with our Athens tour with her, we just had to book her again for our daytrip to Delphi and Thermopylae. She is so easy to talk to and has the most wonderful stories! Her knowledge of Greek history made our excursions with her come alive. She bends over backwards to make sure we are all happy and well fed. 😁 I would advise anyone booking this tour to ask for her personally!

Great tour of Delphi and Thermopylae. George was very punctual, kind and knowledgeable. Also visited the museum and Athena Pronanea Temple. Amazing!
