The opera house was a great experience!!! So beautiful and our tour guide was amazing !!!! The food whew we had backed chicken breast on top of garlic potatoes and peas , the chicken was so tender there was no need for a knife, and it was seasoned well !!! And we had a glass of wine with the meal it was the best tour so far !!! I recommend the dinner with the tour so u can get the full experience !!!
This was a great tour of the Sydney Opera House…the tour guide was awesome with providing great information …the lunch was good at the Mitten
This review only reflects the dining experience, the tour itself was wonderful and educational. The dining experience at Midden felt like a bait and switch. You are only allowed certain menu items and you will only be sat in certain parts of the restaurant. That was unexpected, but fine. It’s a package deal, understood. What was unexpected is we did not feel welcome at all. We were embarrassed to be there after a few moments because we were left to find our own table with our cutlery and glasses in hand. The bar manager eventually found us a table, which was lovely. The meal was small, but plated well. We were never checked upon, never offered water. We just left after eating because it was clear no one else would attend to us. All this to say, don’t do the dining experience. We said that we’d laugh about this one in a few years.

Arrive on time, there are multiple tours happening at the same time. And while you can check bags etc, I’d advise people to not arrive with their life in a backpack.
The perfect night! The food was delicious and the views just spectacular! Would highly recommend to others
Very cool experience, tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and nice. The infrastructure and architecture of the building is amazing to learn about. Would have liked to watch a show, but the opera house was booked out 3 weeks in advance, so if you want to watch a performances make sure to book early!
This was an experience of a lifetime. Our guide Peter he is very knowledgeable, he took us all around the opera house. We book the tour and dine and eat at the Midden by Mark Olive. The icing on the cake, as we say is that we needed gluten a free meal. The Midden has several GF dishes, and the food was delicious.

Learning about the history of the Sydney Opera House left me in awe of its extraordinary creativity and remarkable architectural design. I truly enjoyed this unforgettable trip.
