Incredible experience! Arturo was so friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The coffee tour was informative and interesting and the waterfalls were absolutely incredible. It gave us a feel for authentic Costa Rica- not only the beautiful ecosystem and how it is so loved and protected by the country, but the drive to the tours was very interesting to see Costa Rican towns. It’s was the highlight of our trip so far! Breakfast and lunch were great as well, pick up and transportation was timely and everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend!

Amazing day trip from San...
Amazing day trip from San Jose, our guide Jose was very knowledgeable and had lots of information to share not only about Doka Coffee Roasters and La Paz Waterfall Gardens, but about San Jose, the cities we drove through and national history as well. We had a great time and felt like VIPs everywhere we went. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience....
Excellent experience. Nelson is a great guide who seeks the best for the clients, prioritizing comfort and maximizing the tour. In my case, he was even a photographer.
The tour itself is lovely; I was lucky to go in May when there weren't so many people. The estate and the park are wonderful; I hope to return with my family in the future. However, being a woman and traveling alone, I felt very comfortable and safe the entire time. I highly recommend it.

TOUR WAS EXCELLENT BUT DO NOT MISS LEAD YOUR CUSTOMERS TO MAKE MORE MONEY.
The tour and guide was excellent But, THEY STOPPED AT A SHOP (strawberry shop) We were encouraged to support the locals so we purchased three bottles of the rum pineapple. They packed it and told us IF WE DO NOT OPEN IT we can take it on the flight with us. That was bad information at the airport they took all three boxed bottles a waste of money.
If we had known we would not be able to take it with us, we could have at least enjoyed a little of it at the hotel.
We were advised by the guide and the shop operators. That we could fly with it.
DO NOT MISS LEAD YOUR CUSTOMERS TO MAKE MORE MONEY. THAT MAKES YOUR COMPANY LOOK BAD.
We spent $100. USD THAT WENT TO THE GARBAGE.

We sincerely apologize for the incident you experienced at the airport with the bottles purchased during your tour.
We completely understand your frustration regarding the loss of your money and the disappointment this caused at the end of your trip.
We would like to clarify that the information provided by our guide and the shop is correct in the sense that it is permitted to fly with liquor bottles, provided they are transported in your checked luggage (the bags that go in the airplane's cargo hold). Unfortunately, international airport security regulations prohibit carrying containers with more than 100 ml of liquid in carry on bags or backpacks, regardless of whether they are unopened or sealed.
Our intention is never to mislead our customers for financial gain; on the contrary, we genuinely promote supporting local businesses.
We deeply regret that there wasn't enough emphasis on the fact that these bottles had to be placed in your checked suitcase.

Breathtaking nature and beautiful experiences
Our guide Harlem has made our day trip an unforgettable experience. We were lucky and got a private tour just for our family.
Harlem has imparted a lot of knowledge and looked after us with a lot of joy and fun. My highlights were the proximity to toucans, hummingbirds and butterflies. Likewise, the waterfalls were a dream, as you could stand right next to the rushing water.
I highly recommend this trip for a stay in San Jose.

Great excursion
We stayed a day in San Jose as we had an early flight the next day to LA we didn’t think we do that much to do here So we booked this excursion and it was fantastic We had a great tour of how coffee is made, and the waterfalls and preserve was absolutely stun.
We would’ve never known about this. Have we not booked it our tour guide. Mauricio was so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. It made for an absolutely fantastic day.

Perfect all around !
Armando was our guide and he was excellent, Knowledgeable , fun and attentive! We had an amazing action filled day taking in the views, learning the culture and enjoying amazing food and drink ! We highly recommend this tour and Armando!

Fantastic tour company.
Awesome tour. Pickup by our guide Arturo in a nice clean comfortable vehicle. Arturo so professional and knowledgeable. First stop Doka Estate, for a simple local breakfast. We received an interesting coffee tour from start to finish. Plantation was so nice. We received just enough info not to overwhelm us. Next up La Paz. Again, so much to see and tour. Fantastic extensive lunch buffet was served. Ample restroom breaks, much appreciated. First class tour company. Recommend
