Excellent guide (Matthew) and driver (Milo? Miles?)

We went on the sunrise tour with John. We were part of a very small group of people who have been able to go inside the stones. Inside Stonehenge, we had two wonderful guides, Tom and Sam. They divided our group of 49 people in half so that half the group could start inside the circle and half could have the information for the outside of the circle. We have taken many trips with Viator and John was one of the most exceptional guides we have ever had. As we traveled to Stonehenge, John had many funny stories about the area of London that we were going through. He took us on a nice walking tour of the village of Lacock as well as Bath, telling us many interesting things about both cities. For those of us who are Harry Potter fans, it was fun to see where some of the movie was shot in the village of Lacock.

The inner circle was the highlight, but a 30min traffic jam really made the day feel rushed.

Getting inside the Stonehenge was fantastic. You can take your shoes off to walk on the ground, but make sure you don’t touch the stones or else security will escort you out. The afternoon tour has you at Stonehenge at golden hour, so photos were great. I imagine sunrise is also gorgeous. It’s well worth the higher cost and taking a bus tour makes it pretty simple. Eva was an excellent guide, with lots of commentary and jokes. She pointed out points of interest, but also the local farm animals like cows & sheep. She’s honestly a hoot! She normally does the morning tour but did the evening Stonehenge tour for my group. I would definitely join one of her tours again. It’s about 2 or so hours from London to Lacock, but we hit some traffic. Ricardo did an excellent job driving and navigating the winding roads. The ride was pretty smooth for such a large bus.

Wonderful experience stopping in Lacock, Bath and finally Stonehenge. Our tour guide Eva was very friendly, kind, and knowledgeable and led the tour in a well organized and thoughtful manner. Highly recommend this tour!

Good experience with Eva and Ricardo

We had an amazing time visiting Stonehenge, Bath and Lacock! Eva, our guide, was so friendly and fun, and our driver Neil was very safe and time efficient! We thought the inner circle experience was well worth the price to see the stones up close and also beat some of the crowds. This also gave us lots of opportunity to ask questions on site with the experts. We opted out of visiting the Roman baths in Bath, and still thoroughly enjoyed having personal time to visit the city center. It felt like a great way to balance the benefits of a guided tour, like transportation and knowledge, while maintaining some travel independence. Overall, this was a busy day but a trip highlight for us!

The early morning trip to the inner circle of Stonehenge was fantastic. Our guide, John, prepared us as what to expect. So when we met the local Stonehenge guides we were able to take full advantage of this unique experience. Then the tours of Lacock and Bath were the icing on the cake. John kept us informed of local history and our driver, Carlos, showed great skill navigating the country roads. We had plenty of time everywhere, except for Bath where you really need a whole weekend. It was definitely worth getting up for the 5:30 a.m. start.

This tour begins with a very early start to the morning ,was up at 3.30am to be ready to arrive by 5.30am at the meeting point for the tour (depending on travel times to get there) .As it is an early start we found out they will organise Breakfast at your stop in Lacock and you will be given options that you can choose before you arrive at destination about 10.00am .My husband and I did one better and asked our hotel to prepare a little breakfast takeaway bag for us (which they were more than happy to do ) Be prepared when going out to StoneHenge (that early in morning ) for it to be very cold and also light rain (so waterproof coat/jacket is a must ) as you will be doing a lot of walking make sure you have comfortable shoes(sneakers best with good tread on soles) Our tour guide James were very knowledgeable and kept us entertained and our driver Miguel his experience driving through the very narrow streets in the Cotswolds showed as it was rather hairy in some spots with other driver's.
