Fun, can be as challenging as you want. Staff friendly and helpful. Courses get more challenging as you go.
We drove about 1 hour with my 8 year old daughter only to be told that she could not participate in the activity as her "hand- stretch" height was under 160 cm, which was NOT clearly advised by both the service provider and the payment organiser, very disappointing for my daughter. This criteria should had been advertised as a critical matter and checks and balances should had been in place to prevent the full payment that the service provider allegedly are unable to refund. Also very disappointing that the refund could not be provided and only s promised "credit" that I still have not received by email as discussed at length. Overall extremely disappointed that the poor notification of the height requirements as the emphasis was placed on age i.e. over 8 years, together with a non-refundable option, which is not acceptable. The staff members advised us that "we were not the 1 st not the last" in relation to not understanding the height conditions, therefore they were wholly aware that they have failed to provide s Full and Frank disclosure from s consumers perspective, whilst refusing to refund our money, by alleging that it was booked through s 3rd party. Very poor disclosure, management of a very sad young lady and refusal to refund our money paid in advance. Considering filing a complaint at QCAT, as this is wholly unacceptable, especially as no credit has been provided as promised.
Thank you for your feedback. We understand it is disappointing when an activity doesn't go as planned, but we must correct a few points in your review. Safety is our top priority, which is why our minimum hand-stretch height condition of 160 cm is comprehensively listed everywhere on our website. We make every effort to ensure these safety criteria are transparent before a purchase is made. Age alone does not override these strict physical safety requirements. In regards to your money, your booking was made through a third-party platform. Because we do not process or hold those funds, it is physically impossible for our staff to issue a refund to you. This is standard practice for third-party bookings, and any requests for a refund must be handled directly by the company you paid. We are happy to follow up on the complimentary credit that was offered to you as a courtesy. Please reach out to us at info@treetopchallenge.com.au and we will ensure the email is resent to you.
We visited the Big Pineapple precinct at Woombye and spent time at TreeTop Challenge across two visits with family. On the first visit, there were no sessions available that day, but we were still able to explore the grounds and walk through the area around the junior course. This ended up being a really valuable part of the experience, as it gave us time to observe the environment, walk the tracks, and simply take in the setting under the trees. We also shared lunch together out the front of the TreeTop Challenge area, which added to the relaxed feel of the day. We returned later in the week for a booked session. The experience itself was enjoyable and well run, and it was helpful to have family members take the lead while others observed and supported from the ground. The encouragement from staff and the general setup made it easy to feel comfortable trying the course. One thing to note for others is that fatigue can set in after around an hour, particularly for those who are less accustomed to this type of activity, so pacing and timing are worth considering for future visits. Overall, it was a positive experience and a nice way to spend time together outdoors, with a good balance of adventure and support for different comfort levels.
Wow! Thank you Jenny, that is so kind of you to share such a detailed account of your time with us. We love that you enjoyed the lush atmosphere of the Big Pineapple precinct even before your climb! Pacing is definitely key to conquering the courses, and we're thrilled your family felt so supported by our crew throughout both visits. The TreeTop Challenge Team
This activity is very physically challenging, I did not expect this. I would like to have few high but easier tracks. Otherwise absolutely great day with kids (they were more courageous than me). Special thanks to all staff, very friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful, so definitely great thing to do.
Hey rostikr2021, thanks for the feedback! It’s great to hear the kids showed you how it’s done—sometimes they really are the most courageous ones in the trees! We appreciate your thoughts on the course difficulty; it definitely is a workout. Glad our team could help make it a beautiful day out for the family. The TreeTop Challenge Team - Keera
We had the BEST time at Sunshine Coast Adventure Park – TreeTop Challenge! I did the course with my 17-year-old and we both absolutely loved it. The entire facility is incredibly well maintained and professionally run. From the moment we arrived, everything felt organized, safe, and welcoming. The guides were fantastic — friendly, encouraging, and clearly very experienced. They struck the perfect balance between keeping things safe and letting you enjoy the adventure. Each course had just the right mix of obstacles and challenges — enough to push you a little outside your comfort zone without feeling overwhelming. A huge highlight for us was the inclusion of multiple zipline sections within each course. Just when your arms were feeling it from the obstacles, you’d launch into an awesome zipline stretch — such a fun and well-designed flow! It was the perfect mix of challenge, adrenaline, and fun, and such a great activity to do together. We left smiling (and a little sore in the best way). Highly, highly recommend to anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast — whether you’re with teens, friends, or just young at heart!
Lots of fun harder than it looks need to be reasonably fit the zip lines are the best some challenges were difficult
So beautiful. Kids loved it. A great fun challenge. They spaced us out well so that there were no cues, and we didn't feel like our smallest one had to be rushed.
Both parents and kids (15 and 13 yr old) enjoyed the morning. Great experience. Friendly staff. Beautiful shady area. Didn't feel pressured by having too many up on the courses.
Fun, challenge and great activity for all the ages. Just near the Big Pineapple, the place have a little pond and enough area at the trees for all the circuits.
The best, safest challenge thing I have found for my young sons , 4 and 6 . Brilliant setting , well priced , handy location to where we were staying , and filled the morning for our energetic children. Looking forward to coming again and joining in.
Thanks so much for your lovely feedback! We're so happy to hear your boys had a great time and that the experience ticked all the boxes for your family. We’d love to see you back soon—and hope you get to join in next time too!
