My family and I were a larger group toured by Eamon! His energy complimented our very first impression of the beautiful sights and history of Dublin. Over the course of 3 days, we learned information about the city that created conversation with family beyond the structured tours. Very pleased with the overall experience.

Eamon was willing to explore for as long as we were, despite the cold and night rolling in. He shared his knowledge not only of the historical landmarks and events, but also insights and stories of local customs and culture. We walked for miles visiting his favorite spots, too! What sn amazing day!

Kate was a great guide for our one day in Dublin. Her background in journalism and broadcasting, experience in art, and love for the city in which she lives made for an informative and pleasant tour. She was able to speak deeply on all topics of interest. Very happy we chose her!

We ended our trip to Ireland in Dublin. As first-time visitors, we had no idea where to begin or what to do. We had a delightful time walking the streets of Dublin with Kate. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and interested in providing us not only a great tour but also in wanting to know what we were interested in learning as well. She placed the historical context in the origins of Ireland, and Dublin, in such a way that the all of the places we visited from our travel throughout the country fell into place for us. I would recommend Kate anytime!

Amazing walking tour of Dublin. Rich with history and fun anecdotes. The library was our favorite but there is something for everyone.

I can't say enough about Kate! First, she is ideal for someone coming in for just a day via cruise. She lives near the tender port of dun Laoghaire and since tender timing is so iffy, I was able to WhatsApp her when our tender departed and she met us at the cruise dock and rode in to Dublin with us....and also came back with us at the end. It was great because we didn't have to estimate times to get to a meeting point, so we maxed out on our Kate time. Her tour was fabulous. She has had a career as a professional journalist, so she was really good at separating out what is fact and what is her opinion as she told us so much about Ireland's history and politics. She is also an accomplished artist, who is particularly skilled at capturing the live music scene. So, in addition to great accurate historical perspectives enlivened with journalistic skills, we were able to appreciate local art and the music scene. She is essentially the perfect guide. We loved her as a person as well! Our family (parents plus teen) uses WithLocals in most cities and countries we go to and Kate is one of the best!!!!!! 11 hearts and 11 thumbs up if I could!

Derek is wise and thoughtful and kind--he was very responsive to our needs and our many questions. He knew a lot about Irish history and entertained us with many stories--highly recommended as much time as you can.

It was a lovely, informative day with Kate and Jack roaming around the city of Dublin. There were 5 of us so it was nice that Jack came along as well and could answer any questions we had. Both Kate and Jack have a trove of historical knowledge to share as well as some fun personal stories that made our time with them very pleasant. Thank you

Keelan was a great tour guide. We felt the private tour was well worth it. We learned a lot about Ireland's history, and the castle tour was very interesting. Keelan adjusted his stories and info based on our interests. It was very relaxed and not rushed at all.
