Our tour guide Uygur was amazing. His knowledge about Berlin was very informative and he was able to explain so much from all of the questions that we had. We hit all the highlights and he was so personable! Very good tour, would highly recommend! Uygar V. knows his stuff. Loved it!
Juan is a very nice guy. He is very knowledgeable and understanding about walking slower and allowing for pictures to be taken.
We booked last minute and early on the day and were pleasantly surprised that Seth was available. He tailored the tour to our interests including providing excellent general knowledge. His knowledge of Berlin and its history is exceptional and he gave us great insights that we didn’t expect. We should have booked him for the Sachenhausen tour! Highly recommend Seth and With Locals tours.
We’ve used Withlocals numerous times, and Chris was one of the best. The tour was fun and we learnt a lot. Many interesting facts, fun anecdotes and rich history. Berlin is fascinating , and Chris made the city come to life. We all truly recommend his tour for all ages; we had a blast!
My wife and I live nearby Berlin and had two Chinese/American visitors over for whom I had mainly booked the tour. We were all extremely impressed with Juan's tour and his abilities as a guide. It turned out, even I did not know the majority of the sites and attractions myself, and - if I did - Juan always had a take on things that shone a new light on them. He is super enthusiastic, lives in Berlin for 25 years and has a profound knowledge of Berlin's history, architecture, arts, culture, libraries etc and obviously loves the city. He is very communicative, answers all your questions, also says when he does not know something (hardly the case though), and often shows you pictures on his tablet. on what places looked like in the past so you can compare them to what you see, today, so you can really get a very good impression of the changes that Berlin underwent throughout history. Juan also suggested two restaurants, one of which we went to after the tour, which was exactly the right thing and reasonably priced. This was a great 3 hour tour through Berlin which deeply impressed us and we can only wholeheartedly recommend Juan as a guide!
Our tour guide, Michéle, was absolutely phenomenal. She tailored the tour of Berlin based on our previous knowledge of the city and points of interest. She was friendly, knowledgeable, answered our questions and really showed us what Berlin is all about. Her passion for the city is unmatched, and we truly felt as though we had spent the day with a friend. This tour changed the entire trajectory of our trip, and we ended up completely rearranging our travel plans to come back to Berlin at the end of it. Do not pass up the opportunity to book this experience. You will most definitely not regret it.

Seth was an excellent guide, being very informative as well as a pleasure to be with. He provided in-depth insight into the history and culture of the many sites we visited. Since we are interested in history, his discussions were very much appreciated. We highly recommend Seth and this tour of Berlin.
Juan was ABSOLUTELY GREAT! He adjusted the tour to our pace (we have 2 boys ages 9 & 12). Juan gave us the right mix of highlighting the main buildings and the history behind each of them, while also showing a couple of hidden gems along the way. I strongly recommend booking Juan for your Berlin tour!
We spent a great morning with Seth. Seth took us on an off the beaten track tour. He was very knowledgeable and he made the tour very interesting with a lot of local back stories which really brought our understanding of the city to life. We started in the Tiergarten to the Victory column. Then a bus to the Kaiser-Wilhelm church and then to Die Hackenschen Hoefe (where we had an excellent coffee stop), over to Museum Island, Lustgarten, Neue Wache and finishing at Bebelplatz. We had a thoroughly brilliant morning and we would highly recommend a private tour with Seth to get the most out of your time in this amazing city.
