Edgar was intelligent, passionate; and impressive overall. An amazing experience—we highly recommend!
Our guide, Julian, was exceptional, highly intelligent, and very patient. Viator, does need to make walking tours much more obvious in the description. We thought it was a driving tour, but actually it was a walking tour and I had trouble physically walking. There was an arrival situation that Viator was extremely helpful in mitigating to a great conclusion. Viator is my go-to trip planner helper!
Carolina was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever encountered - from the initial contact to the very last second! We saw everything from historic buildings to parks, cathedrals, markets, shops, and statues. The detail with which Carolina described everything was inspiring. We were able to decide where and what we wanted to see and even got many recommendations for where to eat, shop, and kick back. It was the best way to see as much of Madrid history and get a taste in one day.
Our guide started with an overview of royal history of Spain. We walked by many important sites and visited the cathedral and the crypts below; which were beautiful and full of history. We visited the Plaza Mayor and historic sites around the plaza. I highly recommend this tour.
It was a good experience. Mateo is very friendly and knowledgeable, the reason for 4/5 stars is because he was about 15 minutes late and we had traveled from Barcelona for this tour.
Egle was a wonderful tour guide. Our 3 hour, 3.5 mile tour was the perfect way to see Madrid. Egle was very knowledgeable and interesting. She kept our interest and we learned so much about different areas of the state and city of Madrid. She was so pleasant to be around and answered all our questions. We highly recommend this tour.
We had the best experience today with Edgar! He is a wealth of knowledge and was such a great guide and a great person. We were very lucky that there was a procession at the palace with cannons firing welcoming the President of Portugal. We learned so much from Edgar and you can tell he is passionate at what he does. He also gave us great food recommendations where the locals eat. 10/10! We would book with him again in a heartbeat. Such an incredible day!
