We have had so many wonderful Tours With Locals, our tour with Chris was a little disappointing. Starting time was moved to 8:30 (which we agreed to). The North Sydney harbor front was a nice stroll & great views of the city across the bay. Took the train over to the city. A lot of back streets with not many hidden gems. Chris had a previous appointment, so our tour was only about 2 hours. I count on honest reviews. This is an honest one.

The hidden gems are not gems just normal part of the city. Overpriced for walking 2 hours. Should be warned about the excessive walking

Our afternoon with Robyn exceeded our expectations. She is so knowledgable and takes you on such a great city tour. Love the stories of the history of this beautiful city and the places you would never know to go! Highly recommend her tour. I recommend you do this right when you get here, gives you a great perspective of the city and super interesting history. She was phenomenal and you can tell she loves sharing her knowledge with visitors.

The Viator description of tour was wholly inadequate. No mention of "walking" tour or "strenuous". Felt purposefully misleading as 98% of other tour descriptions have been accurate. That being said, the tour itself was very interesting. Our guide was good and informative. The guide needs a little more experience speaking to groups. But we did enjoy the guide and he tried really hard to make it interesting.

We had a great time on our walking tour with Robyn. She was so knowledgeable and personable. Would highly recommend her if you really want to learn all about Sydney , its history and other little known facts. Definitely worth the price.

Unfortunately, not all tour guides provide an enlightening or pleasant experience. This was the case with Chris. First off he was late although he texted 5 minutes prior to the start time he was running late. To our astonishment when he arrived he said it was a walking tour although there were 9 different stops miles apart. My husband is mobility challenged so he agreed to drive. Normally a tour guide is constantly informing and educating about your surroundings and explaining the history of the subject area. With little exception, there was no conversation in the car unless we asked a question. The answers were brief and the guide relied on our printed itinerary as to what we were supposed to tour. After 1.5 hours from the time the tour was to begin we asked him to drop us off at the start site. We requested a refund from Trip Advisor and have yet to hear from them. It was a total waste of time and money.

Our guide Robyn was great. She knows so much about Sydney and was very happy to share it with us. We saw and heard so much on our walk. Light rain turned into hard rain so we opted to take the train for part of the tour. We had a refreshing drink in a unique little bar. As senior citizens this was a fun but exhausting tour. With that being said we are so happy to have taken this tour with Robyn.

We were in Sydney for 3 days and wanted to take a guide through Sydney on the 2nd day. Robyn made Sydney come alive and tangible for us. We had actually booked a 3-hour tour - Robyn took so much time that we only parted company after 5 hours. She had so many interesting stories, places and special spots that she wanted to show us. The whole tour was accompanied by a lot of heart and genuine enthusiasm. We really enjoyed it! Thank you Robyn!!

For being new to this job, Chris was very kind, helpful and enthusiastic. He followed up the tour by sending us an email suggesting other sightseeing activities we might enjoy.
