I absolutely loved this tour from beginning to end. One of the things I particularly liked was that the tours are done in smaller buses. It makes such a difference to the atmosphere and makes it much easier for the group to connect. Very quickly, it felt less like travelling with a group of strangers and more like the best kind of school trip – everyone talking, laughing and simply having a great time together. A lot of the credit for that goes to our wonderful guide, Ani. She was incredibly friendly, warm and professional and managed to create a great group atmosphere almost immediately. Our tour was conducted in both Armenian and English, and she handled the two language groups brilliantly. I never felt that one group was getting more attention than the other, and everything worked very naturally. The whole day was exactly as described and extremely well organised. I felt very well looked after throughout the tour, but at the same time the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. We laughed a lot! The food stops were also excellent – although, to be fair, finding bad food in Armenia might be quite a challenge. 😊 My personal highlight was the cable-car ride to Tatev and Tatev Monastery itself. The scenery is spectacular, and the monastery is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful place. What I particularly loved was that it still didn't feel overwhelmed by mass tourism. It was one of those places where you really want to stay a little longer and just take in the atmosphere. From the organisation and the small group to the food, the places we visited and, above all, our guide, everything came together perfectly. I came back tired after a long day, but extremely happy. It was one of the highlights of my time in Armenia and a tour I would happily do again. One small practical tip for visitors to Tatev: check your phone's mobile network while you're there. Mine suddenly connected to an Azerbaijani network, which can result in unexpected roaming charges depending on your mobile plan. So switching off automatic network selection or data roaming before arriving is probably a good idea. Thank you, Ani, for such a memorable and fun day!

Avoid this tour company. Their lack of communication has caused me so much stress before and during my trip to Armenia. I missed my tour because they did not provide the confirmation and I did not know the right time. Then they said we take full responsibility but it’s also your fault. And they would refund me the tour.

We had a wonderful experience on this tour! Everything was very well organized, and both the driver and the guide did an excellent job. They were professional, friendly, attentive, and made the whole trip comfortable and enjoyable. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared interesting information throughout the tour, while the driver made sure we felt safe and comfortable during the entire journey. It was an amazing experience, and i highly recommend this tour to others!

Avoid this company. Very disappointing experience. We booked the Tatev tour with One Way Tour, and unfortunately it was one of the worst tour experiences we’ve had. 1. Very uncomfortable bus The bus was uncomfortable for such a long day trip. Spending hours on it made the journey much less enjoyable. 2. They didn’t follow the advertised itinerary Before the tour, they stated that if weather conditions made Khndzoresk unsafe, it could be replaced with a tour of Old Goris: “In case of unfavorable weather conditions, the visit to Khndzoresk may be replaced with an Old Goris tour for safety reasons.” When we arrived at Tatev, it was not raining, but the guide refused to take us to Khndzoresk in a very dismissive and rude tone. Even worse, they didn’t take us to Old Goris either, claiming it was raining there. Instead, they took us to Harsnadzor and Svarants viewpoints, which added only about 20 minutes to the trip. Comparing the locations, it really felt like they simply chose the easier option instead of honoring the promised itinerary. 3. Rude guide The guide spoke very disrespectfully to tourists who returned 8 minutes late from the Tatev complex. Tatev is a huge monastery complex that genuinely requires time to explore. She lectured people in an aggressive tone, saying she would never wait more than three minutes for anyone again. It was unnecessary and unprofessional. 4. We were left freezing for hours because of poor organization This was the worst part. Our driver became ill, so we stopped at a food court. The driver and guide went to the hospital, taking all of our belongings with them, including jackets and warm clothes that were left on the bus. We waited for almost two hours. Eventually, another One Way Tour bus arrived with a different guide and tourists. They took us to the promised Areni wine tasting, but even that was disappointing. The wine portions were so tiny that it was barely possible to taste anything, and the staff stood watching everyone, clearly expecting people to buy bottles. Then that second bus left too. It was around 7–8 PM, getting cold, and we still had no jackets because our belongings were on the original bus. At 8 PM, the winery closed and we were asked to wait outside. We spent another 30–40 minutes freezing until our original bus finally arrived. This was a major company. They could have arranged for us to wait somewhere warm, coordinated with the winery so it stayed open a little longer, or found any reasonable alternative. Instead, we were left outside in the cold. 5. No apology or compensation After all of this, we were offered no compensation, no meaningful apology, and no effort to make up for the experience. I understand that emergencies happen, and the driver getting sick was not anyone’s fault. But how a company handles an emergency is their responsibility, and One Way Tour handled it very poorly. I would not recommend this company. There are many tour operators in Armenia—choose a different one.

We traveled with the tour agency "One Way" for the first time. We are delighted with the course chosen by the organization and with Levon Mirzoyan! Special thanks to him for his knowledge and quality. The person is very well-read, responsible, knowledgeable, and a specialist in their field! Traveled on the "Two-day "Syunik". We had a wonderful experience with One Way Tour! Gor and Artush were incredibly professional, friendly, and patient throughout the whole trip. I have no clue where I have to go till the morning 6 am. My friend booked for me the trip so he told me where i will go only in the morning. The trip was just perfect! Shaki waterfall is still on my mind even it passed already 2 weeks. Even tho I saw Tatev few years ago I discovered everything with a fresh eye. And also I just have to say a special thanks to TIGRANUHI♥️ the best guide! Learn about so mich more with her and it is really nice to meet friendly, nice and helpful people as Tigranuhi. In the evening while coming back we were singing and the atmosphere was just amazing!

Our three-day trip with Levon as a guide and Vano as a driver was very interesting and eventful! Levon told us a lot about Syunik and the history of Armenia. This is a wonderful guide who possesses vast knowledge and, most importantly, a real passion for his work. We learned a lot of new things and greatly enjoyed his stories. A special compliment to Vano! He drove the car perfectly and very calmly, which made us feel safe and able to completely relax during the trip. I recommend everyone to travel with Levon! This is a wonderful guide and a wonderful person. 🇦🇲❤️

We had an absolutely wonderful three-day trip through southern Armenia, visiting Tatev, Goris and Meghri. The scenery was breathtaking, the places we visited were beautiful, and the hotels that were arranged for us were excellent. But what really made this trip special were our guide Levon and our driver Vano. Levon has an incredible amount of knowledge about Armenia, its history, culture and the places we visited. He shared so many interesting stories and explained everything with genuine passion and pride for his country. His enthusiasm really added something special to every place we visited. Vano was a fantastic driver. We always felt completely safe with him, including on the long and winding mountain roads. He drove calmly and carefully throughout the entire trip and got us everywhere safely and comfortably. Kristine and I truly enjoyed every moment of these three days. The combination of the spectacular scenery, great hotels and, above all, Levon and Vano made this a trip we will remember for a very long time. Thank you both for an unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend this trip — and especially Levon and Vano!
