Not trying to be picky, but when the tour operator says on their own instruction sheet that you should look for a "Purple Umbrella." I would advise them NOT to show up with a RED one. The excursion was wonderful but be prepared for a very brisk walk at the Park Guell portion of the tour. The Sagrada Familia is truly amazing and well worth the time and cost.
I booked this tour in April. Today is one week from the tour date and the operator CANCELED our tour for four people.
The tour day was changed to a day we were flying home. It had previously changed time of day which was ok. So we missed out on seeing Sagrada Família…very disappointed.

I requested a partial refund for services paid for and not provided by the Tour Guy. We booked this tour originally with Trip Advisor only to have the entire tour canceld last minute. Thinking I was smart I booked directly with The Tour Guy. The tour at Sagrada Familia was wonderful and the guide a gem. BUT ---Transfer from Sagrada Família to Park Guell. Paid and not provided. Ok, we are on vacation, we can argue that later. Took a taxi at our expense to the meeting point for the Park Guell tour. Guide shows up and informs us we are not on the list. Calls are made and it turns out the entire tour of Park Guell with an English speaking guide was no longer possible. More people show up for this English speaking tour to find the same. Paid for and confirmed but not available. Requested a refund for services paid for and not received. ( transfer from Sagrada Familia to Park Guell, Park Guell tour with English Speaking guide) Still waiting. I request half of paid in full tour for the missed opportunity, aggravation and services not provided. Very disappointed.
