As an older couple, we were a little apprehensive about going to the Klis Fortress, which requires some steep climbing. But Vinko, our guide, was extremely helpful and considerate, allowing us to pace ourselves and get to the top for a spectacular panorama view! We then went to Salona, an active archeological site of a Roman city that once had a population of 60,000. The site reminded us of Pompeii, although work is not as far along. Finally, we stopped at Trogire, a charming Venetian town that had been recommended to us for its waterfront beauty. Three different experiences in one afternoon! What could be better? Vinko is a knowledgeable and personable guide, and we would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a half-day foray outside Split.

Vinko is a great driver and also a very helpful and knowledgeable guide. He took time to fully explain what we were seeing at each location, and then made sure we had plenty of time to explore on our own. We never felt rushed, and would recommend this trip as a great way to see and learn about Klis, Salona and Trogir.

We visited the Kliss Fortress, Salona, and Trogor with our guide Luka. We didn't know what to expect but were blown away by Kliss. The views and how extensive the grounds are were unexpected and our guide and driver Luka made the experience perfect. I would highly recommend this tour!!!
