We had a blast with the variety of ziplines and the repel at the end! Staff were very kind and friendly. Saw several toucans and enjoyed their photos of us. Highly recommend!
Oh. My. Goodness. What a wonderful experience! 10 zip lines, with varying lengths, guides were so kind and helpful. Lots of wildlife to look for and truly so beautiful. The photos are 100% worth buying as well. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Can’t recommend enough :)
It’s so worth the booking! I was very hesitant, but it’s a great time with great guides. Transportation was easy and lunch was very good.
As a domestic tourist, I recommend this place 100%; the service provided by Ms. Jessica when one arrives at the office to finalize the tour payment and sign the documents is very warm and respectful; she is also very attentive in addressing all the questions and inquiries one has. From that moment on, the tour makes a big difference and fills one with great joy knowing that the experience one is about to have will meet the expectations one brings. Upon arriving at the site where one prepares by putting on the harness and the rest of the equipment, the attention and quality of service from the guides Jairo, Jorge, Jostin, José, Javier, Pablo, Rony, Daniel, Sharon, and María is noted to be exceptional; the joy with which they work and the respect they show undoubtedly greatly improve the experience; it is worth highlighting María's agility in using the camera at heights, the photos she takes turn out very beautiful. Once on the tour, one is fascinated and impressed by the facilities, the safety of the cables, the platforms, and the hanging bridges; they truly meet all expectations, and to top it all off, a delicious traditional lunch arrives, prepared by Ms. Carmen and Ms. Roxana, wow, their cooking. Very few tour operators dedicated to canopy tours in the Quepos and Manuel Antonio area make the difference that the Sanctuary does; other companies, whose names are not even worth mentioning, only go after the foreign tourist, let themselves be carried away by charging more money, and set aside the quality of service, and therefore leave one with a bad taste in their mouth because it was a bad experience. One falls short of words when describing the great experience one takes away from the sanctuary.
So thrilling. Our group had a great time. The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. Lunch was delicious.
Overall excellent experience. Pickup in Quepos was on-time. The whole staff was very helpful and gave reassurance when needed. Equipment was in good condition and staff were excellent clipping our harnesses on and off safety cables and ziplines. Beautiful views of the rainforest and canopy. At 69 years old, this was my first ziplining experience. I'd say that anyone my age in reasonable physical condition could comfortably complete the whole course. Excellent casado lunch served as part of our tour. This'll be on my to-do list the next time I visit Manuel Antonio.
The guides were fantastic and so friendly, that is not why my review is average. The overall experience was alright. I felt like we took the same zipline 10 times minus the long one #4. If you're looking to explore the jungle and it's inhabitants I would book elsewhere honestly. Felt a little overpriced for what we did and saw.
Thank you for the review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the service provided by our team and are sorry to hear that the experience fell short of what you expected. We do not repeat any ziplines on the course. We have 10 ziplines of varying lengths and some hanging bridges, two of which are very long and high in the tree canopy. While some lines may be similar in length they are in different areas of the jungle and each experience is different from the next. Cable 3 is a short line with the option to go upside down, cable 4 is our super long line that is “double” to race your partner side-by-side. Cable 5 takes us from open space into dense primary jungle. Cable 6-9 is a mix of fast and medium cables with beautiful views and cable 10 is our fastest line taking you across half a kilometer in about 25 seconds. This takes us to a giant Ceiba tree where we rappel down to the ground to finish the tour and have lunch. Along with large hanging bridges throughout, we have lookout points with some stunning views of the mountains, Naranjo river, and the pacific ocean. We sit on a large 500 acre private reserve dedicated to conservation so while wildlife is often sited on tour, it can never be guaranteed in this truly wild setting. Our tour price includes 10 ziplinea, 4 hanging bridges, 1 rappel, a typical Costa Rican lunch and transportation to and from the property.
Amazing amazing experience. We went with our 3 kids ages 11,8,&6 they had an absolute blast and loved that at first they went with a guide then some alone and some still with a guide if it was thought they'd get stuck. They had such a blast with the guides! Even if you think you might be scared do it. I was apprehensive but the degree of safety protocols and how well maintained all the equipment was is so reassuring. The guides are truly phenomenal and so very kind. One recalled that I injured my shoulder because I emailed her about maybe needing to go with a guide remembered and kept checking in with me. And the lunch was FANTASTIC!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
This was the highlight of our trip for our 10 and 7 year old boys! It was the perfect first ziplining experience for our whole family! This experience was very well-organized, felt extremely safe, and the mix of ziplining and the hanging bridges was so fun!
The experience is unique, the staff is very very friendly, the facilities are excellent, we were able to see several animals during the circuit, I felt very relaxed and enjoyed it too much. 100% recommended
