You probably called the Arena directly and asked about the evening gladiatorial fights that are organized throughout the summer and cost more than a guided tour, but you bought a guided tour of the Arena. I'm sorry that you didn't ask me during the guide when you noticed that there were no gladiators, then you would have solved the problem immediately.
