The transportation service to Blue Hole and Dunn’s River Falls had some positive aspects, but also a few things to keep in mind. We had agreed on an 8:00 am pickup, however, the driver arrived about an hour late due to traffic. Once he picked us up, we headed to our first stop, Blue Hole. On the way there, he shared interesting information about Jamaican history and other topics, which made the ride more enjoyable. When we arrived at Blue Hole, he recommended taking a tour with a guide he knew. The tour guide was very friendly, respectful, and helpful; however, my husband and I felt a bit rushed during the experience, as we were given less than an hour to enjoy the water and explore the area. We understand this is not directly related to the driver’s service, but if you are like us and enjoy taking pictures and taking your time to fully experience a place, we recommend communicating your expectations beforehand. After finishing at Blue Hole, he took us to Dunn’s River Falls. Once there, he told us we would have about an hour and a half to explore. This experience was much more enjoyable, as the guide we had was very patient, did not rush us at all, and even took photos of us throughout the hike. Afterward, he drove us back to Montego Bay, but we made a stop of about an hour at a tire shop where he got some new tires and put them in some rims that he already had. At first, we didn’t mind since we thought it would be quick, but it ended up taking much longer than expected. It’s worth noting that the driver may make personal stops along the way if they are on the route. If this is something that bothers you, it could be an issue. In our case, we understood at first, but after multiple stops, it became less appreciated. Still, we chose to be understanding and did not say anything. Overall, it was a mixed experience: the ride was safe and the driver was kind, but punctuality and additional stops are areas that could be improved.

Nigel was a great tour guide with a wealth of information about the island, culture and history and was so accommodating making stops for us to get some of the best local food and experiences. The Blue Hole attraction was absolutely beautiful, with natural waterfalls, cliffs and pristine waters. We highly recommend going with Nigel on any tour he suggests.

Our driver was very friendly and considerate. While he took us to our destination, he gave us a tour of the island that was very entertaining.

Blue Hole was amazing and so was Dunn’s River Falls. Our tour guide, Demar, was wonderful. He took the scenic route while sharing a little history about Jamaica. He was even kind enough to make stops along the way for shopping and photos.

Blue hole was better than dunns. Our driver Lorna who was fantastic, took us there first. It is run by 3 private operators. We stopped at first one and our group of 3 had our own 2 private guides. One to take pics and movies and another to guide us. Started at bottom of river with a 5 min walk through rainforest. Took a dip to cool off and then progressed to top, stopping to take some cliff jumps along the way and end with a rope swing. Not crowded and relaxing but we went on Sunday and laughed until we cried at times. Dunns was a little more crowded and also 2 guides but with a group of 25 strangers. It was fun to say we climbed the falls and the falls themselves are larger and more impressive but experience was better at blue hole. Also pressure at dunns to buy their pictures and video at the end for $40 so they rush you through and try to limit your time to take your own pics. When leaving dunns they force funnel you through an exit maze of local vendors who are very aggressive and not a pleasant experience. Overall go to blue hole and if you just want to do it dunns last if you have time. Lorna is an excellent driver. Informative and helpful. Ask for her .

This tour to Dunn's waterfalls with Nigel was amazing. Nigel is very accomodating and customized the tour towards our personal needs and wants. We were able to explore the waterfall and enjoy a delicious lunch afterwards. Nigel was very attentive at all times. There was no wait time ever and he made our day in Montego Bay an unforgettable experince. Thank you Nigel, we will be back!
