Sofia hosted an absolutely wonderful mask-making activity for our group. We had a mix of ages and abilities, and Sofia was incredibly patient, informative, and encouraging. She walked us through the entire process step-by-step, offering expert guidance whenever we needed it. She provided a fantastic variety of mask styles to choose from, making it easy for everyone to find something they loved. We all walked away with beautiful, unique masks to bring home. This was a highlight of our time in Venice. Bonus: Sofia's shop is beautiful and her own artwork is displayed. I only wish I had felt better and made time to look around and shop her offerings.

The workshop was a true pleasure, the host started with a little history explanation of the different types of masks and the colors, we then continued with choosing a design for our mask and painting them with the guidance of the host. All in all it was a great experience if you want to feel a small part of the venician art.

Very quaint shop, intimate and welcoming. Kids loved the options, not too many to overwhelm, just enough to engage them effectively and get them excited about their creation.

We had such a fun time making masks! The owner was very helpful and spent a lot of time helping us. I would highly recommend this activity!

There were two of us here and we had to wait almost 20 minutes for late guests instead of starting right away. Then it was explained in two sentences what are rather new and more traditional masks. Quick question, who wants what color, which you then had to share on a plate for paper snack sausages. Rs apparently gave only two brush sizes: one for the primer of the mask and a finer one, which unfortunately was not fine enough to paint contours. Often it was necessary to ask for new color, then you just got a pea-sized blob. Then it was also explained to us that the distributed paint dries quickly. For me it was just a complete mess - I would never recommend :(

Last day in Venice and a small gift we gave ourselves: try the experience of creating a mask "ours" to take home. The owner very kind, nice and extremely helpful. Affordable for everyone, with less or more experience in painting. Really recommended!

My kids enjoyed making Beautiful painted Venetian palazzos. They spent just over an hour on this activity.

This hands-on experience was a great choice. Sofia’s knowledge and skills encouraged creativity as we personalized our masks. Fun Relaxing & Venetian.

Incredibly pleasant host. She knew just the right balance to ensure my mask did not turn out to be a train wreck, but gave me a lot of latitude where I did make my own. I would highly recommend any family doing this if you’re in Venice.
