Michelangelo was AMAZING! He customized the evening golf cart tour specifically for us after having a quick conversation with us about what we had already seen or had booked tours for later in our trip. He made great suggestions, was full of fun and interesting information, and he interacted with our kids. In the heat of summer, seeing Rome from a golf cart makes the temperature tolerable. And at night, it's even better! I can't recommend this tour (and guide) enough!

Our family had an amazing time exploring Rome with Matteo on a golf cart tour. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! Matteo knows Rome incredibly well and shared so much fascinating history and local knowledge throughout the tour. He made the stories behind the buildings, monuments, and neighborhoods come alive in a way that kept both the adults and kids interested. Taking a golf cart tour was such a great way to see the city. We covered a lot of ground, got to see places we never would have found on our own, and didn’t wear out the kids with hours of walking. What really made the experience special were all the unexpected stops and surprises Matteo showed us along the way. He went above and beyond what we expected and gave us a much deeper appreciation for Rome. He was also fantastic with our kids—patient, flexible, and always making sure everyone was having a good time. If you’re visiting Rome, we highly recommend booking a tour with Matteo. It was a fun, relaxed, and memorable way to experience the city, and we’d do it again in a heartbeat.
Our driver was great! He hit all the wonderful sites. He was safe and gave food/shopping tips. I would recommend this to others. A good introduction.
Our guide was Lisa and she was friendly and knowledgeable. She took us to all the spots we wanted to see. She even organised the tour to finish where we wanted to get off and gave us some recommendations for lunch in the area. Our 8 and 5 year old loved it!
We had an outstanding private golf cart tour of Rome with Matteo and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting the city. We chose the evening tour on our day of arrival, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. After a chance to rest from our travels, the tour gave us a wonderful introduction to the city and helped us get oriented in historic Rome before spending days exploring on foot. Matteo was incredibly hospitable, friendly, and easy to spend time with. He is a safe and confident driver, which made navigating Rome’s busy streets feel completely comfortable. What really stood out was his genuine love for Rome. His enthusiasm for the city was contagious, and he shared fascinating history, local insights, and excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to visit throughout our stay. The golf cart was a perfect way to see many of Rome’s highlights while learning about the city from someone who clearly knows and loves it. Matteo was knowledgeable, engaging, and great company. Our entire family enjoyed the experience immensely, and it was a fantastic way to begin our Roman holiday. Thank you, Matteo, for a memorable evening and a wonderful introduction to Rome! This tour is excellent as a private tour, but would also be great in a larger group.
We did the nighttime tour with Paolina. She was fantastic, and a wealth of information. The views at night are beautiful. It is a great way to see the major highlights of Rome in a 2 hour tour. It is the best thing we have done in Rome!
Matteo was highly recommended by a friend and he did not disappoint. The tour was detailed and we saw more than expected. Great experience and easy way to take in a lot of Rome. We did the night time tour and it was beautiful to see the Colosseum and St. Peter’s Basilica/Vatican at night. One of the highlights of our trip and highly recommend to others.
