ナガルコットは、カトマンズから最も近く、人気のある丘の 1 つです。ナガルコットは、カトマンズ盆地の東約 36 km、海抜 2,165 m 近くに位置する村です。この地域で最も風光明媚なスポットの 1 つとして、ナガルコットはヒマラヤの日の出の景色で有名です。頂上が雪に覆われたエベレスト山を眺めることができ、村の丘の頂上には見晴らしの塔があります。アンナプルナ、マナスル、ガネーシュ ヒマール、ランタン、ジュガル、ロルワリン、マハラングール (エベレスト)、ナンブルなど、ネパールの 13 のヒマラヤ山脈のうち 8 つがここから見えます。また、カトマンズ渓谷とシバプリ国立公園のパノラマの景色も楽しめます。

カトマンズで最も高いパゴダまたはネパール様式の寺院を訪れてください。 17 世紀にブパテンドラ マッラ王によって建てられました。また、ニャタポラ寺院の近くにあるバイラブ寺院も訪れます。

The view of the Himalayas depends on the weather. The day we went the weather was good. We had a really great view of the mountains. Our guide was able to point out various peaks, including Everest. The second half of the tour was interesting. Our guide was good and very friendly. We are glad we took the tour.

The weather was beautiful and the mountains were clear. Durbar Square in Bhaktapur is huge. Earthquake damage prevented us from seeing some buildings. This tour was pricey, but it was a good experience.
