Our driver, Edwar was absolutely fantastic. From the moment he picked us up at the airport, he was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Instead of just taking us straight to our hotel, he turned the journey into an unforgettable experience. He stopped at a local alpaca farm and took the time to explain the difference between real alpaca and synthetic products — something we would have never learned on our own. It was fascinating and so helpful for shopping later! He also brought us to the Maras salt flats, which were stunning and completely exceeded our expectations. Having someone local guide us and explain what we were seeing made all the difference. By the time he dropped us off in Ollantaytambo, we felt like we’d had a mini tour of the Sacred Valley rather than just a transfer. If you’re visiting Cusco and heading to Ollantaytambo, I cannot recommend this experience enough. Ask for Edwar if you can — you’ll be in excellent hands!
