Subhash was helpful from the start. He gave us options to choose from to best suit our needs- eg morning or afternoon-4 hour or half day. Water was included in the price as well as binoculars. He messaged the day before to ensure we were still happy to proceed and arrived at the appointed time. Then the magic happened. He was so knowledgeable about all the animals and brilliant at spotting them. We saw elephants (including babies), hornbills, lizards, crocodiles, deer, mongoose, monkeys, peacocks and buffalo to name a few. Truly magical- he also respected all the animals by remaining at a considerate distance but still close enough to see really well. He even took pictures and was happy to send them to me. Honestly just a wonderful day and very very reasonably priced. He spoke excellent English. You will not be disappointed if you book with Subhash

We had a fantastic safari where our guide took us around more of the National park than most others do. He didn’t follow other cars to get a glimpse of an animal near other cars but took us off to spot our own animals where we could watch peacefully. We saw a lot of elephants, crocodiles, amazing birds, jackals, lizards, spotted deer, and a number of other animals including a rare jungle cat which was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly and made sure we had a great time. Highly recommended.

Subhash is a talented guide. He can choose the right time and good location. We were lucky to see more than 40 elephants and a lot of other different animals. His English is good and also he knows everything about local nature. It is interesting to hear his stories and facts regarding Sri Lanka's inhabitants.

After many safaris in Sri Lanka this was by far the best, thanks to Subash! He helped us a lot during our travel and was the best driver/guide/person we met in there. He also has a great sight, I still don't understand how he was able to see animals at such a long distance! Thanks Subash!!

Honestly speaking, the best driver in the whole National Park. You dont need to pay extra for additonal guide, Subhash knows a lot of things about animals and hidden places to meet groups of elephants. You would really like this gentle guy Subhash. Good luck!
