Phillip and Susanna were fantastic! The tour was fun and informative and Susanna was so welcoming to us in her home. Phillip and Susanna were hysterical and we felt like family gathered around her table. Thank you for a wonderful time!

We met Sandra for a super informative walk around old town Kotor including a lot of history of the entire area. Then off to Susie’s for an incredible cooking lesson using local fish, onions, garlic and tomato sauce. These ingredients were used to make a wonderful fish stew and a delicious fish spread. The company of these 2 lovely women made the day very special. Susie’s outdoor terrace was beautiful and all of the cooking took place there. The conversation was entertaining and fun. I would highly recommend this tour.

This cooking class was one of the most special experiences of my entire trip. Cooking alongside Suzanne felt less like a class and more like being welcomed into a Montenegrin grandmother’s home — warm, personal, and full of genuine care. We made the traditional Set Menu 1: Parmigiana as an appetizer and Brodet, a classic Montenegrin fish stew, as the main course. Suzanne guided us through every step with patience and stories about the dish’s history, making the whole experience feel authentic rather than staged. The company was wonderful, the food was absolutely delicious, and I left with both a full stomach and the recipes to recreate it back home. If you want a genuine taste of Montenegrin culture and hospitality, not just a cooking demonstration, this is an absolute must while in Kotor. Suzanne made it unforgettable.

Philip was a great Kotor tour guide, kept it informative and concise. Cooking class was fantastic – hands on with lots of menu options, and quality local ingredients. Spent a couple of hours cooking and chatting. Interesting to hear about the history of the area and how it's changed. This was a private class for 2 people, would have been happy to be in a larger group for this.

We liked hospitality a lot. It is wonderfull to have a feeling of free atmosphere. Very tasty and a simple dishes at the time. I was allowed to do the most of cooking under Susannas supervision. It was great experience. Learned new recepies !!!

Wish I could rate this even higher! The entire experience was fantastic, from Djordje giving us an epic old town tour (in the rain!) to Suzanna welcoming us to her lovely home, where the cooking class was fun, the food turned out delicious, and the conversation flowed. I wish we could have stayed even longer. Would recommend to anyone wanting a cooking class combined with a glimpse into the life of locals.

This is a tour you really should take. Our guide was Novak. I can’t say enough good things about him. Patient (our water shuttle was late), funny, knowledgeable, and ready to answer all our questions. After a walking tour of Old Town (don’t miss the cats 🤣) we went to Susanna’s house for our cooking class and lunch. She was hilarious! We had so much fun and learned to cook brodet (a fish soup) and gibanica (phyllo and cheese and egg pie). Over coffee, wine, and good food it felt like we made new friends with her and Novak. These are the kinds of tours we love. Cannot recommend both of them highly enough!!

Our tour guide Milena was wonderful. Great sense of humor. Great language skills. Great knowledge of Kotor and Montenegro. Helped us find some local art that we were interested in. The cooking class was also wonderful. The host Suzanna was warm, fun, and a great instructor. Loved the food we selected to make: fish stew, fig and cheese pie, and eggplant casserole. Relaxing. Delicious. Great experience.

We did the Old Town walking tour with George and then the cooking class with Suzanna. Overall, the experience was amazing. George did a great job of sharing the history of the city and pointing out various landmarks. Suzanna was extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home. She taught us how to make local dishes like eggplant parm and the food was delicious. After doing a lot of the "touristy" things in Montenegro, it was so refreshing to meet some local people and spend time learning about their culture. They were extremely friendly and we would recommend this activity to anyone who visits Montenegro!
