The Badagry tour is an interesting addition to the slavery sites along the West African coast. It was a former slave who was given freedom in Brazil and went back to present day Nigeria to organize the departure of more slaves to Brazil. The tour has some hands on exhibits, building tours, then a boat ride to where the slaves were loaded on boats bound for the slave ships. A very educational and memorable experience.

This tour is a very worthwhile experience. The history in Badagry is heartbreaking but important to learn about and reflect on. The beach at the Point of No Return is incredibly beautiful, and the monument helps to memorize those taken against their will to it unknown destination, while symbolizing that their descendants can still return. Victoria and Michael are wonderful tour guide who will help personalize your experience to make it as meaningful as possible.

We took this tour to see if would be educational. I learned a lot. It was very sad just listening to the info. The chain that the slaves had to wear around their neck was so heavy. The point of no return just made you imagine what those slaves went through. I recommend this tour if you are interested in history

Very real experience seeing the culture in the area where there are people still living. You travel on boat to an island and are integrated in the current lifestyle while understanding what happened during the actual slave trade. The best part was just driving along the mainland and seeing the daily life in Nigeria.

The museum was interesting but could be better. The first house in the city was seen nearby but has no artifacts inside. This was on the way to Benin so worth stopping by but an hour was enough. Would not take a tour from Lagos as the journey is busy and you spend most of the time in the car.

The tour was expected to be heartfelf. However, the knowledge of the staff, professionalism, and level of costumer service made a good experience. We didn't just learn but were offered opportunity to see and feel from the slave's eyes. Additionally we learned about Nigerian history to understand background and context. I highly recommend this tour for adults, children, and families.

This was a good tour to see Badagry and the Point of No Return. We scheduled the evening before. The driver and guide were prompt to pick us up. We enjoyed the trip.
