My wife and I did the Giant Water Lilies and Temple Tour with Forever Vacations, and it was genuinely one of the highlights of our time in Thailand.
From the moment we were picked up, everything was relaxed, personal and completely unhurried. Our guide, Patty, was exceptional — warm, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. She didn’t just take us from one attraction to another; she explained Thai culture, Buddhism, traditions and the stories behind the temples, which gave us a much deeper appreciation of what we were seeing.
The giant water lilies were incredible, and the drone photographs were absolutely stunning. They gave us memories that we’ll treasure for years. The temples were equally fascinating, particularly because Patty brought their history and stories to life.
What really made this tour special was the personal attention. Patty genuinely wanted us to enjoy our time in Phuket and even took the time to recommend places for me to go running during our stay. Those small touches made the experience feel much more like spending time with a local who cared about our day rather than simply following an itinerary.
We’ve travelled to many places over the years, but it’s rare to find an excursion that feels this personal. We honestly wouldn’t change a thing.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Special Phuket Experience!!!
Angie and I did the Giant Water Lilies and Temple Tour with Forever Vacations, and it was genuinely one of the highlights of our time in Thailand and we both agreed that this was one of the most enjoyable and personal experiences we've ever had on our travels
From the moment we were picked up, everything felt relaxed, personal and completely unhurried. Our guide, Patty, was exceptional. She was warm, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, and rather than simply taking us from one attraction to another, she took the time to explain Thai culture, Buddhism, traditions and the significance of the temples we visited giving us a much deeper appreciation of this amazing country.
The giant water lilies were incredible, and the drone photographs were simply stunning – memories we'll treasure for years to come. Visiting the beautiful temples was equally fascinating, particularly because Patty brought the places and their stories to life for us.
What really set this tour apart, though, was the personal attention. Patty even took the time to suggest places where I could go running while staying in Phuket! It was those little touches that made us feel like we were spending the morning with someone who genuinely wanted us to enjoy Phuket rather than simply ticking off stops on an itinerary.
We have travelled to many places over the years, but it is rare to have a tour that feels this personal. We honestly wouldn’t change anything about it.

Best tour ever!!!
The tour was seamless from pickup to drop off. Nick was our guide, and he was so informative of the Thai temples, and was the best photographer. He got us some really great shots! Overall, the trip was excellent.

Well worth it
Learned a lot about Thai culture and Buddhist traditions. You get more than the lily pads. Didn’t expect that. So that was a plus. Patty was a good tour guide and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Too expensive!!
Its too expensive and the price is not worth it! Also, don’t get and pay $25 for the queue, if you go there in the morning, there are only few people. The temples are nothing much to see, its not worth the price indeed! Entrance there is only 1,000 bahtt w drone photos , per pax. You can take a cab , its more cheaper or rent a car with a driver for 5 hours is only 3,500 baht, than paying $338 for this trip (for two). This is crazy and NOT worth it!

It includes private transportation, an English-speaking guide, entrance fees, and the convenience of having the itinerary arranged and operated exclusively for your group. The price also reflects the service provided and the arrangements made specifically for a private tour.
Regarding the queue service at Ma Doo Bua (Waterlily Cafe), conditions can vary from day to day, and unfortunately, we cannot always predict how busy it will be. We offer this option for guests’ convenience, particularly when visitor numbers are higher, but it is entirely optional. Guests may choose whether or not they would like to use it based on their preferences and the conditions on the day.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding the temples and the overall experience. We’re sorry that the attractions did not meet your expectations, as we understand that the value of a tour can be very subjective depending on what each guest is looking for.

Private tour with Nick to temples and giant water lilies
This was a really great tour. The company as soon as we booked was very communicative. They reached out via what's app to ask questions about what we wanted to see most, type of music we like, and what was more priority for us on the tour. They gave us updates up until the day of our tour. The tour guide Nick arrived early but didn't rush us and even made sure we had a chance to eat breakfast if we wanted to before we left.
He tailored the tour with our permission to do all the temples first to avoid the crowds and the heat which was a great idea. Which took us to the Lilly pads right at lunch time so we had time to do our photos as well as have lunch. He was very knowledgeable and was the tour guide, driver, and also took photos for us at all the stops. All around great experience! If you can afford it this private tour is the way to go. I highly recommend it!

Private tour with Lilly pad photos.
This was a really great tour. The company as soon as we booked was very communicative.
