We booked the Ella day tour after reading a few good reviews, but honestly, they blew all our expectations out of the water. From there, the whole day just flowed smoothly. He drove safely, knew the roads inside out, and kept the vibe super relaxed. He took us to all the major hotspots—the Nine Arch Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak, and the waterfalls—but what made it really special was his timing. He knew exactly when to get us to each spot to beat the huge tourist crowds and catch the best lighting. ​The absolute best part for me was seeing how much my girlfriend Sharon enjoyed it. She was so, so happy the entire day! She’s usually quite picky about long tour days, but she was smiling from start to finish, taking tons of photos, and having the time of her life. We had a fabulous experience with Riu Lanka tours, our contact with them via whattsap before we arrived in Sri Lanka was excellent Obalna our guide tailored our tours based on where we wanted to go and there were no hidden costs. His colleague Sam was our guide for our 2 day trip to Ella & Yala, his knowledge was amazing and he had a great sense 9f humour, Obalna gave us a tour 9f the local area 8n his tuk tyj and we went 9n a trio to Galle & Lion Rock, Temple of the golden Buddha & Cave Temples with him, he was brilliant, we also went to Kandy with Sam as our guide. Sam also took us to a fabulous beach where we spent our last day, snorkeling & had some amazing sea food at the beach restaurant he came back for us after the sunset. Obama also took us to a local massage retreat and even took me a hair salon, nothing this company cannot arrange for you. We had a fantastic experience with RIU Sri Lanka Tours and thoroughly enjoyed the excursions to Ella, Yala National Park and Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery. The trip to Ella was absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking landscapes, tea plantations and plenty of opportunities to experience the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. The Yala safari was another highlight — we were lucky enough to see elephants, crocodiles, monkeys and, of course, the incredible wildlife in its natural habitat. It was an unforgettable experience! We also really enjoyed visiting the Kosgoda turtles, which was both interesting and educational. It was lovely to learn more about the conservation work and see the turtles up close. Throughout the excursions, everything was very well organised, and we felt comfortable and well looked after. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to share information about the places we visited and Sri Lankan culture. We highly recommend RIU Sri Lanka Tours to anyone looking to explore beyond the resort and discover some of the amazing landscapes, wildlife and culture that Sri Lanka has to offer. A truly memorable experience!

We had a wonderful one-day journey today. The tour was called the Ella Day Tour. The long drive from our hotel by car was fully compensated by the beauty of the route and visits to places such as the waterfall (those who wish to swim), the 9-arch English bridge, the subsequent train journey, a visit to the tea plantation and the climb to Adam's Small Peak. We were happy with the trip, we can safely recommend. We were accompanied by Obama and waited very patiently at every stop and never drove us anywhere.
