Very disappointing customer service
Very disappointing customer service
We booked a tour to Prevali Beach for three people. Due to strong winds, the boat trip was cancelled, which was completely understandable and not the company's fault. The tour guide, Nicholas, was professional, friendly, and explained the situation clearly. He refunded the €13 boat fee and told us to visit the agency to receive the remaining €25 per person.
The experience at the agency was completely different. The staff member, Anny, provided some of the CHECK IN CRETE travel agency worst customer service I have ever experienced. We explained that we were leaving Crete early the next morning and simply needed the refund we had been instructed to collect. Instead of helping us, she repeatedly asked if we wanted to book another tour, despite us clearly explaining that this was impossible.
She then spent a long time on the phone and ignored us for around 30 minutes. It was extremely hot inside the office, yet she never offered us a seat, even though there was a bench occupied only by her own bag. We felt completely dismissed and treated as if our time did not matter.
When we told her that the customer service was very poor, she accused us of shouting. We were not shouting - we were becoming frustrated after being ignored for so long while simply trying to receive the refund we were entitled to. Only after we firmly insisted did she finally process the refund.
Nicholas, the tour guide, deserves recognition for his professionalism and kindness. Unfortunately, our positive impression of the tour was overshadowed by the unacceptable behaviour at the agency. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the customer service, because no customer should be treated this way.

We are sorry that you left with this impression, as our goal is always to provide the best possible service to every customer, even when unexpected situations such as weather-related cancellations occur.
However, we would like to clarify a few important points. At the time you visited our office, our colleague was already assisting other customers. As with any customer service business, all guests are served in the order of their arrival, and during busy periods some waiting time is unfortunately unavoidable.
In addition, no member of our staff is authorized to issue refunds independently. According to our company policy, every refund must first be approved by our head office before it can be processed. This procedure applies equally to every customer and is in place to ensure that all financial transactions are handled correctly and transparently. The time required was therefore not due to a lack of willingness to assist you, but because our colleague was following the company's mandatory procedures.
We completely understand that you were leaving Crete the following morning and appreciate that waiting was frustrating. However, our employee could not bypass the required approval process, regardless of the circumstances. Despite the pressure of serving other customers at the same time, your refund was processed as soon as the necessary authorization was received.
We are pleased to read your kind words about Nicholas and will certainly pass on your compliments to him. At the same time, we believe it is only fair to recognize that our office staff were carrying out their responsibilities in accordance with company procedures while assisting multiple customers.
We regret that your final impression was affected by the waiting time, but we respectfully disagree with the suggestion that our staff acted unprofessionally. We remain committed to treating every customer fairly, following the same procedures for everyone, and continuously improving the quality of our service.

Must see!
We did the tour with Andreas. Since my parents do not speak English, it was worth its weight in gold that he speaks fluent German. The ride was informative and a lot of fun. The beaches on site are a dream anyway. Great recommendation!

Amazing experience!
We arrived in Crete hoping to visit to the maximum and what a pleasure when our paths crossed with Anny!!! An angel in the middle of Crete!
Anny is a very friendly person who advised us very well and offered great excursions. (She has a very varied choice and offers us what is best for our desires).
The price / quality ratio is very interesting I strongly recommend it if you are close to the city of Rethymnon. (Skaleta)
PS: she is a native of France and speaks very good French 😉

Anny and Kevin are super nice speaking French and English. Very good advice I highly recommend

Very nice and lovely trip to preveli & Damnoni beach
Very nice tour. Walking in the clearwater river with lovely palms around. Small waterfall you could swim and walk thru. Nice beach as well. Short busstrip and a nice litle boattrip in blue crystalclear water. This was a nice trip. The guide was also good, dont remeber his name but he was french. The lady who sold us this trip was lovely and recomended this trip. Her name was Anny and have her stands in Adelianos kampos, Thanks to her😊

Highly recommend!
We highly recommend this address. The French hostess Anny ( near the hotel Réthymnon Palace ) offers you a handset according to your expectations and your budget. We thank Kévin our guide on 3 excursions. We appreciated his availability, knowledge and sense of responsibility. We enjoyed discovering this beautiful island with many facets including the palm grove of Préveli.

Beautiful beach with palm grove

Don’t go
Never got there. Brought to beach to wait for boat. Never arrived after 2 hour wait Beach was rough and dangerous. Skipper of boat should have known about tides, etc…. After 2 hour wait bus took us to a back-up place for 2 hours. Nothing to do at this village. We did get our $20 boat ticket back and $5 for inconvenience
