Great day riding horses on the beach. Horses were very well trained, both wife and I are experienced riders and these horses were awesome. Guide was great. Got to get a little running in on the horses. Beautiful scenery on the beach. Highly recommended.
This is a great thing to hear!!! Thank you so much for letting people know :)
This was my first time horseback riding so I didn’t know what to expect. For me, it was a bit of a painful ride that made me wish I listened to the “not for people with a bad back” warning but that was my fault. The staff were very kind, very friendly, and very helpful. The ride up and down the beach is beautiful and if you’re lucky they may let you gallop on the horses if you have the experience. The horses were all great, patience, and kind animals!
We are so glad to hear you had a fun experience! Thank you for sharing your experience. Have a great time in Cabo!
We had a perfect trip! The transportation was easy to find and a nice ride. Once we arrived at the ranch, we were greated by some wonderful people (the woman behind the counter was SO kind and one of the prettiest people I have ever seen!!!). The ride was easy and beautiful. We didn't want to trot or gallop and tour guide was great with that. He also gave us a better set of instructions on how to handle the horse than I have ever had (and we do a lot of horseback riding tours). It was just a nice ride on the beach and through the dessert. Our guide even apologized at the end for not being as chatty because he was worried about one of his horses who was with the vet. You can tell they really care about their animals.
I love this!!! Thank you so much! I know how much they LOVE their horses but there is a competitor who has written a couple of bad reviews saying they are not good horses. I have flagged the fake reviews but they are still up so I really appreciate you telling the truth about this tour :) Have a great time in Cabo!!!
The driver arrived very late, I believe it wasn't the driver fault. Traffic issues. He was kind. The horses provided by stable appeared old and tired.
Hi, please send me pictures so I can see what you are talking about. The last review we received with those horses says, "This was quite possibly the best excursion we have ever taken - equivalent only to a nightdive with manta rays in Hawaii." and the one before that said this, "Just as advertised and a fine conclusion to our anniversary day (47 years!!), except for the evening champagne and.... About 30-40 minutes north of town on a SECLUDED beach. 45 min--hour on horseback on the beach followed by delicious fajitas and margaritas at sunset -- couldn't be better." so I would really like to see how your experience was so different. I appreciate your time.
Our guides were really nice and patient. My family enjoyed the ride. Take a hat with a lanyard so it won't blow off. I wish it had been 1-1.5 hours instead of 2, because my bottom got a little numb.
Love this!! Thanks for letting us know :) I will talk to them about a shorter tour for beginners and see what they say. Have a great time in Cabo!
Lockers provided for items you don’t need to rage with you. We kept walkers and passports with us in a back pack.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I will add the lockers to the included section :)
We went horseback riding. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Emmanuel was our guide and I highly recommend him.
Awesome! Thank you for taking the time to let people know. Have a great time in Cabo!
Our ride was 4 days ago and I am still at a loss for words from what I experienced. My friends booked this excursion for me as a belated birthday gift and it was anything but a celebration. First, there is a non-disclosed park entrance fee which would be understandable if there was a park to enter. Second, wild unattended race horses galloped past us. Third, the saddles and bridles were in subpar condition. The horses were not offered water prior or post ride. An extremely decrepit horse went down on our ride and we all dismounted immediately. It was absolutely devastating to witness. I am not alluding to mistreatment of the equines but what I witnessed has scared me. The ride… three miles down a barbed wire highway, a rocky descent next to dilapidated buildings and MORE wild horses, and then the beach. I have completed horseback rides all over the USA and never was emotionally exhausted from the event. This company did not deliver what was presented in the itinerary. They are now being caustic in our request for refunds.
Tell liar Ashley that she can have as many of her friends lie on here as she wants. We have had this tour for 5 years with many return customers. People can read real reviews for themselves. What is caustic is your behavior.
Where do I start…there is a required park/land use, parking fee that is not properly disclosed so expect to pay an additional $30/ per person upon arrival. Unfortunately that is not where the disappointment ends. Our tour took us along the highway with barbed wire on each side of the trail, littered with trash. One of our horses was knee knocked and in desperate need of seeing a farrier and in pain. Once we made it to the beach, from the poorly maintained trail this horse started to go down, 3 times. As a somewhat seasoned equestrian I knew this wasn’t right. The guide tried convincing us multiple times the horse was fine but once he saw the horse go down, all of the sudden it was just a stomach ache. I’ve never seen colic develop this way. We couldn’t leave one of our people behind, so we had to cut our trip short. If you continue you are only riding on the actual beach for about 15 minutes. Needless to say, this bucket list adventure was just a bust. Photo was before our ride had started, we obviously don’t have any from during the ride due to our experience.
You start off your review with lies and don't stop. The land fee is $25 and goes to the govt to restore the land. As you were yelling at me about the land fee you sent your ticket copy and the fee was fully disclosed ON THE TICKET. It is also in the listing and our welcome email. I can't make you read your ticket. Here is the review before yours: 100% worth it Viator review: Horseback Riding on The Beach and Through The Desert! Gorgeous views of the ocean and coast. My guide Gabriel was the best - I was the only one on the tour and as a solo female traveler I felt totally comfortable and safe with him. He took great pictures of me while riding. In my opinion this experience is 100% worth the cost… And this one Gabriel and Mazapán are the best Viator review: Horseback Riding on The Beach and Through The Desert! The pick up was convenient and they accommodated dropping us off in the centre which made our day-planning a lot easier. Gabriel, our tour guide with the horses was incredible. Super friendly, great conversation, good vibes all around. You can tell he is a genuine person with a beautiful heart. Thank you for such a fun experience... People have eyes and can read honest reviews for themselves.
Gorgeous views of the ocean and coast. My guide Gabriel was the best - I was the only one on the tour and as a solo female traveler I felt totally comfortable and safe with him. He took great pictures of me while riding. In my opinion this experience is 100% worth the cost - that being said I agree with other reviews that mention this may be more enjoyable for people with at least a tiny amount of riding experience. You don’t *need* any experience, but keep in mind you will be riding through different environments and there are lots of variables (cars on the freeway, passing ATVs, dogs, other horse riding tour groups, etc.) that could spook a horse or (more likely) a really green rider. But I would encourage anyone to try this out if they can keep a cool head - and PLEASE people, for your sake wear close-toed shoes! I was fine in loose shorts but leggings/pants are best too if you’re not used to the wear of sitting in a Western saddle for 2 hours. You are risking being very chapped and bruised if you don’t dress properly. I saw so many pictures of people riding in flip flops, dresses, etc. and I can only imagine the discomfort. Bring cash to tip your guide!
Thank you so much for taking the time to give all of those tips!!! Enjoy your time in Cabo :)
