Let me start with the good stuff: 1)Our driver was friendly, on time, fairly helpful, and a fairly safe driver (by Jordanian standards). 2)Jerash is amazing. Well worth a visit to see one of the best Roman cities in the world. The bad/misleading: 1) This is not a “tour”. It is a car ride to and back from Jerash. That’s it. You can hire a tour guide at the archaeological site, but it’s not included. 2) Park entry is not included. (Ten JD for foreigners) 3) No water or in-vehicle WiFi as was promised in the “inclusions”. 4) The car was not great. Think dirty UberX. Not terrible, but no AC, we had to get the driver to remove the seat bottom to get to the seatbelt connectors…and under the seat was a wet sticky liquid. Just not the clean vehicle one would expect from a company that specializes in transportation. Given the above, we strongly encourage you to consider other options, maybe even just Uber. We don’t feel we got anything close to our money’s worth here.

Fantastic trip. We spent half day in Jerash, and we had our lunch in a Lebanese restaurant, everything was great.

The journey to Jerash is one to never forget. The automobile was cozy. The driver was very gracious in providing water, tea, and cookies, and Wi-Fi was connected and charged. We booked under the impression that lunch would be included, but the option we chose did not.
