Communication about pick up was good and our bus arrived just after the time given. However despite being specified in the booking as 15 people max, there were at least 20 squashed on our bus so we were driving around for a while to collect everyone . At the wharf we were then combined with a couple more groups making more than 40 people in total. This was DEFINITELY NOT what we booked for. In fact the small group was the main reason that we chose this tour over some of the others. There were 3 activities on this tour. First stop for a walk around a village where the guide gave us general info about Cham island. Next was snorkelling from the boat. It was windy and water clarity wasn’t good today, but there were enough fish around to entertain us for about 40 mins. Finally we landed on another sandy beach where we were served a group lunch consisting of a noodle dish, a stir fry dish, soup, steamed rice, greens, an omelette, fish and prawns. Nothing special but enough to satisfy us. After lunch we had about an hour to swim, relax on the beach and photograph the monkeys. Unfortunately the wind had come up by the time we departed and as the boat was open sided everyone got very wet from the spray. I would probably advise travellers to search some of the other companies doing this trip, which already have positive reviews ( which this did not) so you know what you are getting!
