Our guide, Samir Gabel. was great! He suggested this tour after taking us to Abel Simbel, and we really enjoyed it. He was very attentive and informative!! I Highly recommend Samir!

We did both the tour to Abu Simbel from Aswan and also the Sound & Light show at the Philae Temple. Both were excellent and a very good value for the price. Our guide was Samir Gaber and he really took excellent care of us. We felt very safe and well cared for. He was very knowledgeable and professional, yet very personable and friendly also. We highly recommend Samir Gaber and the Emo tours Egypt tour company.

Extraordinary site but the sound & light has aged well. Text and voices date from the 1960s and the effects of lights are very basic (lighting of buildings one after another). To see for the site, not for the show.

Not worth a visit. French headphones did not work. Speech in English . Insufficient lights, expensive for the service

The Temple is beautiful, full of details and a lot of preserved history. It is very worth visiting the place that Cleopatra liked to go to prepare essences. The light and sound show is beautiful, has a charm to be on an island, but if you want to save a little, a visit during the day is more than enough. The languages available in the sound are French, English, Spanish, Chinese.

No... A soundtrack on a few lights to tell us the history of this temple. .. The Egyptians should take inspiration from what is done in France for this type of show... prefer the daytime visit

Toghether with my guide Samir Geber I visited Philae Temple and Abu Sibel and it was a wonderful trip, the sights are really from another world and the way Samir told me the legends and history of the past amplified the beauty of the places

it was a good trip, it was informative and interesting. we had been to Philae temple twice before during daytime tis was a different experience of it and it was captivating.

Philae Island is center of the cult of the goddess Isis. Like Abu Simbel, this temple complex was also moved to save it from flooding by Lake Nassar. There are courtyards flanked by granite lions and walls covered in ancient gods and goddesses. Trajan's Kiosk sits near the new shoreline with 14 majestic stone pillars.

I had seen this sound and light a few years ago, and I was disappointed by the current spectacle which only evokes the movement of the temple before the flood by the dam, the texts well said, are not evocative of the history of the temple. In addition, it is necessary to move all along the temple following the lights and it is dangerous, steps of stairs or obstacles are not reported.
