The tour beforehand was rushed and the guide did not speak clearly. She also told about things as you had passed them. The boat itself was lovely. As was the cruise. The food was cold and a very poor selection. Very disappointing.
Atmosphere was great servers were great food amazing the Christmas lights on the river were great foggy
Was not able to attend due to late bus arrival from Prague. Tried contacing tour operator to no avail. Very disappointed Tried to reschedule for Sunday Aug 17 but I was told ot possible and no refund due. I am a retired 50 year travelagent who uses Viator ALOT for my clients and was very disappointed not to be able to talk to a human being regarding this.
This was a very enjoyable boat ride. The boat itself was so high end and it felt like a very upscale experience. The food was good and plentiful as it was a self-serve buffet with servers giving you the option to purchase cocktails. There was an outdoor deck above the dining area so you can get fresh air and enjoy the views. The boat ride took us on a very long journey where we got to see the city from a very unique perspective. I would highly recommend this to fill three hours of an evening and have a delicious meal.
We took the Prague Sightseeing Evening Cruise and really enjoyed the experience. It was a cold evening, but we wrapped up warm and made the short walk down to the boat. Boarding was quick and easy—just a simple scan of our QR code ticket and we were on. We sat on the top deck to take in the views, and it wasn’t crowded at all, so we were free to move around and get different perspectives. Seeing Prague from the river at night was magical—everything was lit up and reflected beautifully in the water. The peace and calm of the river made it feel really special. The cruise lasted about an hour and gave us a close-up view of some of the city’s iconic bridges, like the stunning Charles Bridge and Manes Bridge, as well as gorgeous views of Prague Castle and the National Theatre glowing in the night sky. There was a bar on board for drinks and snacks, and the toilets were clean and well-maintained, which is always a bonus when you’re out and about. All in all, it was a lovely, relaxing way to see the city from a different angle. Highly recommend for a chilled evening activity, especially if you enjoy photography or just want a unique view of Prague.
Very, very disappointing. Monuments are not highlighted as in Paris. The statues of Charles Bridge are mostly black and not where poorly lit. Take the Devil's Canal day cruise, it's much more beautiful (I did both)
Beautiful and magical dinner cruise with my partner and friends. Food was lovely, live music was excellent and the service was exceptional
it was a nice 3hours trip and cool views & the dinner was a variety of delicious food. from my end i guess ya'll have to experience this trip when you cone to prague.
The dinner cruise itself was very good. But getting to the boat was much more difficult than we had anticipated. There's no hotel pickup, unlike other options we might have booked. We had to walk to a ticket kiosk in Republic Square to get our tickets, then figure out how to get to the boat quite far away! That meant figuring out the Prague tram system, then crossing a long bridge on foot. Once on the other side, there were no signs, just over a dozen boats lined up below us on the river. Which one was ours???? Who the heck knows??!! Fortunately, we found another kiosk with a lady who could decipher the Czeck scribbles on our tickets; she was able to point us to "Pier 2-B" down the stairs to our ship. Without this angel, we would have missed our cruise! These guys really need to provide more information up front for travelers like us. I mentioned this to our Viking rep in our hotel; they were surprised that hotel pickup was not included. I never never would have booked this had I known how complicated it would have been!! Back to the cruise itself. It began with a free glass of Prosecco. The boat has a glass top so you get nice views of the city. There was a buffet with two lines, one with charcuterie and other apps, and another with dinner. Ham, pasta, vegetables, scalloped potatoes, mashed potatoes, plenty of choices. Drinks were extra. Around $10 for a glass of wine. Bottom line: thumbs up for the cruise;but down for getting to it.
This tour is set up thru Viator thru another intermediate and then to the final tour entity. So we had to walk from the river to a third party and then back down to the river. All this may have been fine if the arrangements to get on cruise were laid out including relevant times.
