None of us had visited Marseille before, so we wanted to make good use of our cruise stop. Starting directly from the port saved us time and made the morning much easier. We enjoyed having transportation available throughout the excursion instead of trying to work out buses and taxis between different parts of the city. The air conditioning was another plus after walking around outside. We were especially comfortable with the planned return to the ship and the communication about timing. By the end of the day, we felt we'd had a good introduction to Marseille without making the port visit stressful.

Our group included several generations, so keeping the day comfortable and simple was important to us. The cruise port pickup meant we didn't have to navigate Marseille immediately after getting off the ship. Having air conditioning in the vehicle was a welcome feature, especially for the older members of our family. We also appreciated the attention given to the return schedule because everyone felt more relaxed knowing we had to be back at the ship on time. The day gave us a chance to see Marseille together without making the logistics complicated. It worked well for a family group with different ages and energy levels.

Our family had a full day to explore Marseille during our cruise stop, and having the transportation arranged from the port made the day much easier. The vehicle was comfortable, which was especially helpful with the children after spending several hours sightseeing. We appreciated having enough time to enjoy the city without constantly worrying about transportation back to the ship. The return arrangements were clear, and the timing gave us peace of mind about getting back before departure. Customer support was also available when we had a question before the tour. Overall, it was a well-organized way to see more of Marseille during a limited port visit.

The two tour guides were very helpful and communicative, even reaching out to help us when we got lost wandering the streets of Marseille! They knew all the places to find the best bathrooms (iykyk) and made sure to get us back to our boat with ample time. Marseille was pretty, but the other city they took us to, Aix-en-Provence, was much nicer in my opinion. It had beautiful fountains, lots of shopping, and the guides helped us to find an amazing bakery where we could sit outside and enjoy a nice treat and coffee over good conversation.

Got back to the port with plenty of time to get back to the ship. Olga was great and told us a lot of good details about the area we were in. After a short bus drive and a guided audio tour we got some time to explore on our own. Very easy to navigate and no issues finding the meeting point after the independent explore time. There are multiple stops so you get a very well rounded experience. Our family of 8 attended with a senior, 4 adults and 3 children and we all enjoyed it. The bus is a little farther than where the typical excursions leave from. Approximately a 5 minute walk from the boat.

My partner and I were looking for something simple and enjoyable, and this fit perfectly. The surroundings were beautiful, and we had enough time to take everything in without feeling rushed. It made for a really pleasant day together.

Visited with a group of friends and this turned out to be a great way to experience the area. We managed to see the key spots while still having time to relax and chat. It didn’t feel overly structured, which we appreciated. Would definitely recommend for small groups.

Visited with family and found this to be a good balance of activity and downtime. Everyone found something they enjoyed, and the day didn’t feel tiring. It’s a nice option if you’re traveling with mixed age groups.

This was exactly what we were hoping for as a couple—nothing too busy, just a relaxed experience. We enjoyed walking around and taking in the views at our own pace. Sometimes simple really is better.
