We had an absolutely amazing experience with Zephyr! The snorkeling was incredible, and we were lucky enough to see 6–7 huge sea turtles up close. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. A special shoutout to Joe, our guide. He was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and made the entire experience fun and stress-free. You could tell he genuinely wanted everyone to have the best experience possible. If you’re considering the water scooters, RENT THEM! They are totally worth it. Being able to get down in the water and get closer to the turtles made the experience even more incredible, especially for getting those unforgettable pictures with them. If you’re visiting the area and looking for a snorkeling adventure, I highly recommend Zephyr. Great crew, great guide, and an incredible experience that we’ll remember for a long time!

Talk about an unbelievable experience and an unbelievable tour guide, Joe. We had an amazing time. It was hard to overcome the fear of getting in the water but Joe was patient and calm and helped us along. He was simply amazing. He looked out for us and encouraged us. Really making this experience unforgettable. We got to hold some sea creatures and got up close to a few turtles. Never felt rushed and truly an amazing experience in great part to our tour guide. We would highly recommend this to all the tourist in Maui. Even if you cannot swim it’s no big deal. It’s chill and a total vibe with the ocean. I have snorkeled elsewhere including Aruba and Turks but this was a small group, felt very safe, and have never been so up close to huge turtles before! ThankS to Joe and thank you Zephyr for ending our trip with such an unforgettable time. Mahalo! 🤙🏽

Robbie and the team really made sure to communicate with us regarding the meeting place the day prior. The day of tour we met with Robbie, he handed out all equipment, clearly explained what to do and mentioned his expectations for safety while in the ocean. The water was a little choppy which had me nervous. I pretty much spent a great majority of time close to his safety board along with 3 others but he made sure to calm us all, got us to breathe correctly thru the snorkel and then got us involved with activities. His strength along with his swimming abilities is pretty remarkable as he towed the board with equipment and some people attached. His ability to keep everyone in his view while diving for sea creatures and having us interact was great. Although my nerves got the best of me initially, midway thru and the return trip I felt a lot more comfortable. On the other hand, my daughter had a blast with the scooter and completely enjoyed the trip!! Robbie-thanks so much for your patience-your abilities are truly remarkable! Glad I had Robbie as a guide for this first-time-ever snorkeling adventure. Thanks again!!!

Amazing instructor, incredible fun, e-scooter is a life saver. We saw 3 big sea turtles and many starfish and various fish.

We had an awesome time!!!! Joe was our guide and he was super friendly and helpful and professional even to us complete beginners!!!! We got to snorkel real close to and get pictures with sea turtles and other sea life, it was an unreal experience and we can't thank Zephyr Maui enough!!!!

Joe was An amazing tour guide! He caught sea urchins and octopuses for us, he helped us with our masks and was very patient with my little kids. Highly recommend requesting him as your tour guide! The pics and videos he took were also perfect!

We got to see various marine life which was beautiful. However, I would recommend the following: -Increase the ratio of guides to guests. There was only 1 guide in the ocean with a large group of about 7-8 guests. The two other ?guides stayed in the van and drove off while we were in the ocean because commercial vans are not allowed to park on site. Would highly recommend increasing the number of guides to at least 2 per group so that there is a guide at the back at all times to help those that were having a little bit of a harder time swimming in the ocean. Especially as this is a tour for guests with all types of experience levels (beginner to advanced). -Recommend the guide bring some extra life jackets for guests that may have over-estimated their swimming abilities and declined life jackets before getting into the ocean as you can get easily fatigued if you’re not used to swimming in the ocean

Had a fantastic time with Joe and Mr. Alec. This was our family’s first time snorkeling. Joe & Mr. Alec were very patient and helpful and thoroughly explained the plan so that everyone was aware and could complete the dive safely and have a great time doing it. And that is exactly what happened: we went to a spot that was teeming with underwater life and both Joe and Mr. Alec took the time to explain the marine life we were seeing. Even a surprise visit from a white tip shark didn’t rattle them. They made sure our group and the wildlife were safe and comfortable. Everything was awesome, and they sent us a ton of pictures and videos, being sure each member of our party was in them. It was a great way to end our trip here on Maui. 10/10 highly recommend!!

Absolutely amazing experience! Alec is really cool instructor! Ask for him! This is a must do! Beginner friendly as well
