What a day! Our safari driver, LT, was great and helped us from the second we were crossing the border all the way through lunch and onto the boat. He was very patient with everyone on the truck and did a great job showing and telling about all the animals we saw. The buffet lunch was divine - we all ate our hearts out. And then the boat ride back into Chobe with Captain Eddie was the cherry on top. Eddie was also very knowledgeable about the park and animals within it. He also expertly navigated the boat back to safety when the skies opened up and started raining - hard. This was such a surreal experience and I would recommend it to anyone!

We booked a day trip to Chobe NP in Botswana from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe with Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours. Communication with Tongesai from Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours was excellent and he came to pick us up on time. He drove us to the border and handed us to a Botswana tour operator and we had a great day in Chobe, which consisted of a 3-hour game drive, a good lunch and 3-hour boat ride. After the tour, we met Tongesai at the border and he drove us back to our lodge. All in all, everything went as planned and Tongesai provided friendly service. We were a bit concerned about the weather, as we were visiting Chobe NP during the rainy season (March 2024), but the weather turned out to be very warm and sunny. We saw a lot of animals, such as lions, hippos, elephants, giraffes, crocodiles and buffalos. Boat drive also offered a nice perspective as you could get very close to the animals.

What a fabulous safari we had, and I have done safaris all over Africa. We did a day trip with Tongesai through the Chobe National Park with transfers either side of the trip to Victoria Falls. Tongesai was reliable and on time throughout the day. We were picked up at our hotel and he accompanied us for the whole day. We firstly did a boat cruise on the Chobe River with our Botswana guide, John. He was so knowledgable and really showed us some of the best bits of the park. Our lunch stop at the lodge was great and then we went on to do our game drive. We were a group of 4 adults and had our own game vehicle. I don't know if that is standard or if that is just because we were visiting as they enter their low season, but either way the whole day felt very personal and intimate. Not like a tour where you're ferried around in huge groups. It was perfect for us and I will be recommending tours with Tongesai to all those who visit Zimbabwe or the surrounding attractions.

I would highly recommend booking the Botswana Choebe day trip with Tongesai. He responded almost immediately to all email correspondence, online booking and payment was very simple. Tongesai collected us at our Vic falls accommodation as planned and drove the 4 of us privately in his vehicle to the Botswana border , border formalities were quick and simple. We did a 3 hr boat safari followed by lunch then the 3 hr game drive all within the Choebe Nat park. Game viewing was incredible and I have done many African Safaris. If you are looking for a more personal experience to the normal large tour groups then look no further than Tongesai and Cultural Vibes tours.

wonderfully well organised. We were collected on time and had a wonderful drive to the border. All the formalities were done efficiently with all the help we needed. The morning boat ride was amazing. We had a fantastic guide who was able to show us so many things. The afternoon jeep safari was just as good. Once again a very knowledgeable guide who even managed to find a pride of lions to observe. It was a great day perfectly organised for us by cultural vibes. I can highly recommend them and would hesitate to book further trips the next time we visit Victoria Falls
