We booked this activity last minute. We were so happy that they still had place for us. After the experience we were even happier that we did this. It’s such a friendly and hospitable family. They guided us trough every step with jokes and a smile on their face. The food we made was amazing. You will enjoy the real taste of Sri Lankan food.
An absolutely wonderful cooking experience! The family welcomed us with a lot of warmth and kindness. We had a great time cooking traditional Sri Lankan dishes together, entirely organic, with fascinating explanations about the garden and the spices. The tasting was a real treat, rich in flavors and discoveries. A beautiful, authentic encounter, far from classic tourism, which I highly recommend to anyone visiting Sigiriya!
What a wonderful experience! 🥰 Kumara and his family are incredibly kind and hospitable people. The cooking class was super fun, cozy, and full of humor! We started with a tour of the garden, where we received an explanation about all kinds of vegetables and herbs. Then we could get to work ourselves with the fresh ingredients and learned step by step how we could make delicious dishes. The food was really delicious and we learned a lot. A very nice, personal, and especially educational experience that we definitely recommend! 🌿🍛❤️
Great, fun and especially tasty cooking workshop at Kamura and his family. Works only with organic products and knows a lot about the medicinal effects of fruits and herbs (also from their own garden). A warm welcome and with the costs you support his work and family. A beautiful combination!

We had the most wonderful experience with Kumara and his family. The session began with Kumara giving us a tour of his garden where he explained the Ayurvedic properties of the organic plants and vegetables he grows. We then went into the kitchen area where we prepared the food and then had the opportunity to cook it, under the guidance of Kumara and his wife. I went with my family and my niece and nephew had great fun chopping, slicing and grating. Kumara gave us step by step instructions. The workshop was so much fun, engaging and suitable for all ages. A wonderful session, hosted by a beautiful family.
