Our family had a wonderful experience making ramen and sushi with our two teachers. If you arrive hungry, you will leave satisfied. The class started with information about ramen and sushi in the form of friendly presentation questions. The teachers are happy to answer any questions. We talked about food, language, and travel. This is a hands on class, especially the sushi making. Recommended.

Miyoko and Risa were excellent hosts. They shared their love of cooking and culture with ease. The entire experience was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan.

This class was awesome! It was a very intimate setting! Making sushi was so fun and the fish was so fresh and delicious! The ramen was super tasty with the pork belly. I never made pork belly before so I am thrilled to know I can make both of these dishes at home. The sake was so good and their sake glasses are adorable. I brought 2 home with me. Also they had some beautiful jewelry for sale. I bought 2 very unique earrings and every time I wear them people always compliment me and ask about them. What a statement piece! I wish I bought more.The 3 beautiful women who ran the class were so delightful

We had an absolutely unforgettable evening at the ramen and sushi cooking class with Sato and Amy! From the very first moment, they made us feel not like guests, but like friends welcomed into their home. Their warmth, patience, kindness, and passion for Japanese culture created such a special atmosphere. The class itself was fantastic — everything was explained clearly, hands-on, and with so much care. We learned how to make delicious ramen and sushi, but this experience became so much more than just cooking. It was about sharing stories, laughter, traditions, and genuine human connection. One of the most beautiful parts of the evening was meeting the wonderful people during dinner. We met such amazing, open-hearted, interesting people from different places, and sharing the meal together made the experience feel truly magical and unforgettable. It felt like one big family around the table. Sato and Amy created something very special — not just a cooking class, but a memory we will carry with us from Japan forever. I booked this course for my spouse's birthday (session May 5, 2026 at 10:00) and it was one of the best experiences of our stay in Japan. To say it was extraordinary would still be too weak. ​We had the privilege of a private lesson where time literally stood still. The thing that has marked us the most, beyond cooking, is the incredible human exchange. The trainers have not only passed on their knowledge; they have also shown a magnificent curiosity and open-mindedness by taking a sincere interest in our own culture. It was a real moment of sharing in both directions, carried by rare empathy and kindness. They share their culture with an immense heart and a kindness beyond anything we could have imagined. ​Everything was absolutely perfect, from the smallest detail to the exceptional quality of the course. We were looking for the quintessential Japanese food experience, and this touched on it all for us. This was our first visit to Tokyo, so the in-depth explanations of these traditional food and drink were very much appreciated. We can't say enough about the amazing hospitality extended to us. Our hosts and instructors Umi, Konoma, and Tora were animated, fun, attentive, and helpful. We highly recommend this experience.
