Kept the boat facing the whale
Managed to get a video of the whale only because It changed position because every time they spotted a whale they went directly at it instead of turning to the side so everyone could see the whale

What an amazing...
What an amazing experience seeing the Minky whales. I will be definitely doing one of these again in the future to try and spot orcas in the wild and do the northern lights to on boat….. the only downside that I could see there is a family that got on with his disabled kid. It was okay getting him over the first ramp but couldn’t get to any of the decks because of the stairs so I just feel for them.

Must visit when in Iceland

The boat was nice as well...
The boat was nice as well as the crew working the boat. There were many options for sitting as well as walking around the boat. Before boarding, we were told there would be rough seas and were offered a motion sickness pill at check in. Once on board, you take about a 20-30 minute drive to the bay to whale watch. While we were lucky to see whales, they did offer that if you didn’t you would get a complimentary ride to see whales at a later date. We saw quite a few whales while on board and had the benefit of our guide pointing out where in the sea you could see each whale. It was a nice excursion, but very long time at sea (2 hours).

Must see
On our trip we were lucky to see 3 different whales. It was very nice, but the weather was not the best. The museum is also very nice, but after a certain hour it gets crowded, but it was nice anyway.

Brilliant
Brilliant trip! While we did only see one Whale, we spent lots of time observing it and was given loads of information by the tours host.

Great Fun Day Trip
Great trip and day out, our guide was fantastic and we thankfully got to see whales, it was a fabulous trip. The exhibition was also very interesting, thoroughly enjoyed it all.

Underwhelmed
The gentleman narrating was knowledgeable but a bit kitschy. We went out to the bay to see the two humpback whales that have been hunting there for past two weeks. Not much action from what another passenger said. Waters were calm but maybe we’d see a bit more out of the bay?
The young gentleman taking the tickets was not welcoming bordering on rude. Not a good face for the company.
The saving grace were the passengers! I made some good connections!

Excellent trip
Excellent trip, seen humpback whale, minke whale and dolphins. Had a little shop onboard toilets & sea sickness tablets if needed. Advise: iceland class children 0-6 and youth 7-15. Confusion with tickets and had to pay extra while there.
