Great private tour
We arranged a private guided tour for our family, and they took us to Ben Dinh (on request, closer and therefore alightly cheaper) as we had a late flight out that night. They picked us up with all our bags, looked after them for the day and dropped us to the airport after.
Our guide Tommy was fun and engaging, giving us some insightful Vietnamese history and a great tour, as well as a trip to a fabulous Pho restaurant afterwards.
It was great with the kids to be able to skip along any bits they didn’t engage with, but also to pause where we were enjoying ourselves. He even found them some binb shrapnel as a (slightly gruesome) souvenir.
Just a note, the shooting range at Ben Dinh is very loud, so bring ear plugs if you struggle with loud noises

Absolutely worth it
Absolutely worth it
Really immersive experience and one of the best ways to understand the history of the Cu Chi tunnels. The visit is a little fast, but you still get to hear a lot of stories and really feel the atmosphere of the place.
The biggest highlight was our guide, Jack. He’s a teacher and historian, and his family history and own military experience made everything feel much more real and personal.
The site can be busy, but our small group made the experience much better.
Perfect for anyone curious about Vietnamese history and okay with a bit of walking and some very tight tunnels haha.

Fantastic experience - highly recommend
This is a must do experience in HCMC and Tommy was an amazing host! Easy pick up and drop off from my hotel and great communication in lead up to the tour. Tommy told us a lot about the history of Saigon and it was a really enjoyable experience. I enjoyed the small group size and comfortable vehicle. Thanks again.

Two incredible tours and an exceptional guide: thank you, Kero!” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic experience, especially thanks to Kero
We did two tours with Joy Journeys: the visit to the tunnels and the excursion to the Mekong Delta, and we enjoyed both experiences very much.
The tours were very well organized, were interesting, and allowed us to get to know places and aspects of Vietnam that are really worth it. But we want to make a special mention of our guide, Kero, because without a doubt he was one of the best parts of the experience.
Kero is a charming person, very kind, and always willing to help. It is very noticeable that he enjoys his work and that he has a true vocation for teaching and sharing his culture. He explained everything to us with interest, patience, and warmth, was attentive to the group at all times, and made the excursions not only interesting, but also very pleasant and fun.
We take away a wonderful memory of both the tunnels and the Mekong Delta and, especially, of having had Kero as a guide.
Totally recommended. Thank you, Kero! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
