The Cotswolds villages are beautiful! Very quaint small towns with cute shops. However don’t expect to see the thatched rooftops as they are going away. Oxford was better than we expected! So much history and the university was enormous! Daisy our guide and super knowledgeable and informative! Our driver Craig was great as well! A super day!
We visited a rest stop on the way to the Cotswolds. The first town, Burford, was small with street lined shops, cafes, and a church. Not much time spent there. The second town/village is bigger and had way more to offer so we were given more time to visit. Next, was Oxford. Spent the most time at that destination. Enthusiastic Daisy did an excellent job explaining the history along the way. Craig did a wonderful job driving a large bus in tight places.
The two villages in the Cotswolds were darling and we enjoyed Oxford more than expected. We loved the trip but found there was not enough time in each location, which could easily be split into a Cotswolds trip and a full day in Oxford (That may already be an option!). It was a very hot day but our tour guide gave us great options for staying hydrated and cool. Phoebe, our tour guide, was great, as was our driver Tony. Phoebe is very knowledgeable and offered a lot of interesting facts and stories-it’s clear she loves her subject. We found the bus seats to be very uncomfortable. Anyone taller than 5 foot 4 would struggle.
I had a great time in the Cotswolds with DayTours London. Be prepared for cute little towns and lovely English countryside charms.
Tiger, our guide, has a great personality and is extremely knowledgeable about the sites. The driver was excellent as well.
Our Cotswolds and Oxford day tour with Day Tours London was fantastic! Our guide, Charlie, and driver, Roland, were fun, informative, and highly professional. The itinerary was perfectly paced, providing sufficient time to relax and truly enjoy the beautiful scenery. I highly recommend this enjoyable and well-organized tour!
It was an excellent day out and the tour leader Phoboe was knowledgeable and helpful. As it was a sunny Saturday everywhere was very busy. Loved seeing the Cotswolds countryside and the beautiful city of Oxford.
It's was amazing tour that I was been I ever do in my life. The Guide Mr.Jame he done a great job as well the driver she is good.
James and Amy were a delight to have on the trip, James would break the ice and make jokes along the trip to give everyone a laugh once he took over during the rest stop along the trip. James was very impressive with his knowledge of history of Oxford and the other historical villages in London. Amy was very polite and informative with her knowledge about London. The only complaint I have is that I wish we get to stay longer in the spots that we stopped at because one hour doesnt feel long enough to explore and check out everything that the village or city have to offer, but plenty of opportunities to take pictures and briefly look at the shops and other places.
It was a lovely visit to the country. Very interesting to see and experience Oxford Trish our guide was very knowledgeable and a pleasure.
