The tour was a really good experience overall! We saw everything that was described in the itinerary, felt well taken care of at the lodge, and everything worked well, from the pick-up to the shuttle back to the airport. What we liked very much: Our guide Vitaliano was very knowledgeable, explained a lot, and we were able to trust him. Good vegetarian alternatives were available for meals. We were thrilled by the monkeys, caimans, parrots, turtles, tarantulas, and insects. You could also skip the night walk if you did not feel comfortable with the insects. Except for one situation, the guides also always seemed as if they were very careful to ensure that nature is respected. For example, we just saw what animals appeared; they were not caught or anything like that. What we did not like so much: A situation in which another guide caught a small caiman and showed it on the boat. We did not feel unsafe, but it did not seem right to us regarding the caiman. What else you should know: Some frequent travelers complained that they had seen comparatively little, in contrast to Asia or similar places. We personally thought it was really good, though; you didn't see 100 monkeys, but 2, and that is also good. Furthermore, it is not as tightly scheduled as day tours; you do have breaks in between. For us, that was just right and felt like a good mix of activities and relaxation. And one more thing: we had somewhat of a feeling that the tour for us, who had booked it through Viator, was carried out exactly as booked, while the others, who had booked spontaneously at the office, had some spontaneous plan changes at the lodge. Therefore, we would recommend booking here in advance.

I just wrapped up a 3-day Amazon tour and it was honestly an amazing experience from start to finish. Our guides made sure we had the best time the entire trip, and a huge shoutout to Fernando—he was incredibly patient and went above and beyond to show us as much wildlife as possible. We saw so many animals, including monkeys, capybaras, caimans, parrots, a snake, and tons of different insects. The jungle walk was definitely a highlight—such a unique and immersive experience. The lodge itself was absolutely beautiful, and having a pool there was such a blessing after long, hot days exploring. The food was decent overall, though there were a few times where portions felt a bit small, so I’d recommend bringing some extra snacks just in case. Overall, I would rate this tour as excellent and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable Amazon experience!
