Riu Palace Las Americas This review of the Riu Palace Las Americas in Cancun highlights a generally luxurious and positive experience, noting specific details about the service, amenities, and food:  * Arrival & Check-in: While airport baggage claim was slow (1.5 hours), the hotel's transfer service was efficient. The lobby was very luxurious, and the check-in process was smooth, our room was not ready until 3:00 PM. * Room Quality: We initially experienced issues with a faulty safe and limited elevator access. However, the hotel successfully relocated us to a fifth-floor room with "amazing" views of the ocean and pool. A minor drawback noted was loud entertainment music that lasted until 11:00 PM. * Service & Staff: The staff were exceptionally hardworking and maintained a very clean environment. * Dining: While the hotel offers several specialty restaurants, we found the buffet to be the best option. We specifically recommended the omelette station at breakfast for its variety and quality.  Overall, we highly recommend the resort for its atmosphere, food quality, and staff service.

This hotel has an Art Deco-inspired decor with an "antique luxury" footprint, which usually pleases the target audience: which is predominantly American and 50+. Do not confuse with "old" or careless hotel. The staff is very helpful and by the public being older (average), there is not much mess or noise. Although it offers events and daily programming, the parties and bustles are in the hotel next to the same network, which guests of this are entitled to. There is nothing to worry about the food: there are 6 restaurants, 4 bars, a coffee shop and a lounge with snacks 24 hours a day. In addition, room service can be requested 24 hours. The main restaurant has two names (an outdoor dining area overlooking the beach and an indoor with air conditioning) - this is where breakfast and lunch meals are held - there are many options and the food is really quality and tasty. The rest of the restaurants (except bars, coffee and snack bars) open only for dinner. I didn't need to make any reservations, except for the meat specialist. I would safely recommend and would return to this hotel if you return to Cancún. The food, amenities, room Service and other services were perfect. Brazilians are already known for not providing slices, but we were not treated differently because of that. Another point to note is that the hotel is very well located: close to a pharmacy store, souvenir shops and supermarkets. The water on the beach has a very nice temperature and low sargaço level.

Didn't notice a sign with my name but I found one of your reps and he pointed me to the correct driver

I requested a mini van which was sent but it had people already in it and I paid for private transportation. The guy wanted my signature indicating I was a "no show" which I was not. I sent a message to company and they sent a private van which that driver was amazing. I would recommend this company but be sure to make sure you get what you paid for. I appreciated their quick response.
